Private AI chat on your Mac, with local conversations, voice, image/PDF context, built-in tools, and no account required. Sanctum Private AI is a local-first AI chat app for macOS, built for people who want a focused assistant without accounts, ads, tracking, or third-party model API keys. Core chat generation in the App Store build runs on device using Apple’s Foundation Models. Conversations are saved locally on your Mac, so you can keep, search, pin, and revisit your work in a clean native interface. Use Sanctum Private AI to draft, summarize, brainstorm, analyze text, prepare notes, and work through ideas in a private macOS workspace. Optional voice input and voice output make it easier to speak with the assistant when you prefer a hands-free flow. Web Search & Browse is optional and user-initiated. It runs only when you ask for current web information, request a search, or provide a URL. When used, the app sends the requested search query or URL to external web services such as DuckDuckGo, Wikipedia, or Brave Search if configured, so it can return live results or page content. This web access is not used for advertising, tracking, analytics, or account creation. Requirements: macOS 26 or later, Apple Silicon, and Apple Intelligence/Foundation Models availability must be enabled and available on the device.
