GrowOperative is a local food marketplace. Connect with people in your area to trade surplus food and homemade goods. How it works: Browse what your neighbours are growing or making. List your own surplus. Make trades and track each order from request to delivery. Build a network of trusted trading partners over time. Settle trades how you choose. GrowOperative supports bilateral credit between trusted neighbours, an old practice put into a clean digital record. Credits and debts cancel automatically when chains of trust connect, so a tomato grower can effectively trade with a baker by way of the corner store, even without a direct relationship.
