A modern iPhone interface for compatible web-managed access control systems. An access controller is a device that electronically manages the opening of doors, gates, garages, or barriers — for example by activating a door buzzer through your intercom system or controlling a gate motor. Many modern access control systems are connected to the local network and can be controlled through a web interface. However, these interfaces are often slow, difficult, and cumbersome to use. GateTap replaces outdated web pages with a fast, touch-optimized experience designed for iPhone. Built for local networks, GateTap connects directly to compatible access controllers — without cloud services, subscriptions, or external accounts. Compatible systems typically provide: - local IP-based access - embedded web administration pages - browser login functionality - relay or access control through the web interface Compatibility depends on: - controller model - firmware version - web interface structure - network configuration Not compatible with GateTap is generally not compatible with: - cloud-only systems - Bluetooth-only systems - standalone IR remotes - access controllers without web interfaces - generic readers without network modules Try Before You Purchase GateTap can be downloaded and configured for free so you can verify compatibility with your system before purchasing. The free version allows you to: - connect to your controller - verify login credentials - test compatibility - preview the controller interface A one-time in-app purchase unlocks: - gate & door triggering - full operational controller usage - multi-controller / multi-site support - future advanced features No subscription required. Support & Compatibility Assistance Because access control hardware varies significantly between manufacturers and firmware versions, compatibility cannot be guaranteed for all systems. If your controller is not currently supported, support may still be possible. Users can contact support and provide: - screenshots of the controller web interface - exported HTML pages - controller model information - firmware details When feasible, compatibility improvements may be developed and tested together with users through TestFlight beta builds. Please note that this process can be technical and may require active collaboration during testing. Privacy First Your data stays on your device. GateTap does not send: - credentials - commands - controller data to external servers. Optional crash reporting can be disabled at any time.
