New in 1.2: Send images and screenshots, drag items to the menu bar, use global shortcuts, edit before sending, or display a QR code for phone cameras to scan. You copied something on your Mac and want it on a device next to you, even someone else's, where clipboard sharing between devices does not reach. Clipboard Drop shares what you copied with nearby devices. The system sharing sheet sends it to a nearby device you pick, such as an iPhone, tablet, or computer. The receiver installs nothing and needs no shared account. What you can send: • Links (open in browser) • Text (.txt or .md) and formatted text (.rtf) • Images and screenshots (PNG) • Files as they are Ways to send: • Menu bar icon, right click, or drag onto the icon • Global keyboard shortcut • Services menu or Shortcuts actions Extras: • Edit text before sending • Merge recent items into one transfer • Show a QR code for any phone camera Typical items to share include links, network passwords, addresses, code snippets, notes, tracking numbers, and screenshots. Clipboard Drop does not sync automatically, and you always pick the device in the system sheet. It does not receive transfers.
