Language fix
- The app now opens in your phone's language when you create an account. Some new accounts were shown in German by mistake, no matter which language they had chosen. Sorry about that.
- You can now switch language on the first setup screen: English, Polski, Deutsch or Nederlands.
- If the app has been showing you the wrong language, it corrects itself after this update. You can still change it any time in Settings.

What's New
Smart Fueling: plan your carbs before the ride, track what you eat, and get eating reminders based on how hard you're riding instead of a fixed timer. Reminders hold off during descents and other no-hands sections.
Power Plan for routes: set a target power for each part of a route, follow the on-screen Power Guide while you ride, and turn any route into an ERG workout.
Climb view: see each climb's gradient, length and category, with power guidance while you climb.
Ramp Test and CP Test can now be added to your training plan.
Automatic Strava upload when you finish a ride.
Better ride analysis: a new ride timeline, elevation profile, time in power zones, how closely you hit your planned power, and cadence and slope versus power.
Weight and W/kg trends on the dashboard, plus a better weekly summary.
Layout fixes for smaller screens, plus general fixes and polish.

What's New in 1.2.2545
NEW: Cadence sensor support
Pair a Bluetooth cadence sensor (Wahoo RPM, Garmin, Magene and other standard CSC sensors) as its own device, next to your trainer, heart-rate monitor and power meter. WattLog picks the best cadence source automatically (power meter first, then cadence sensor, then trainer), and the ride screen shows where your cadence is coming from.
Also new
• Critical Power test: two all-out efforts that estimate your CP and FTP
• Share cards: turn a ride, your week or a new power record into an image for Strava or Instagram
• Calendar: all your planned workouts across plans, with week totals
• Save any outdoor ride as a route and ride it again indoors, with the elevation profile
• Workout editor: easier coach cues with quick time entry, a sticky Save bar and a cleaner layout
• GPS-only rides: record an outdoor ride without any sensors
Fixes
• A power meter paired on the phone now takes priority over trainer power, so rides are no longer recorded with two power sources mixed
• Workout charts now fit phone screens

What's new in 1.2.2465
Bluetooth pairing
• The app now tells you when Bluetooth is turned off or permission is missing, and shows how to fix it. Before, you just saw an empty device list.
• Clearer feedback while scanning: you can see which devices have been found.
Strava sync
• New Strava activities now sync automatically soon after you upload them.
• Imported Strava rides now include their GPS route.
• Better duplicate detection, so each ride shows up only once.
• If you delete an imported ride, you can import it again.
• Fixed a case where your most recent rides could be left out of an import.
Fitness chart
• Fitness (CTL) and fatigue (ATL) are now calculated correctly when you view a shorter date range.
Bug fixes and stability improvements.

CPS power meter support — users can now pair standalone crank-based power meters (like Favero Assioma) directly on iOS, not just trainer-reported power. More accurate power readings for riders with dedicated power meters.
1.2.1987 Jun 30
Pair a dedicated power meter
You can now connect a standalone power meter (e.g. Assioma) in
FreeRide — separately from your trainer. WattLog automatically
prioritizes the best power source and shows which one is active
right on the cockpit, so your numbers are always the ones you trust.
Also in this release:
• Manage your account: change your username and email directly from
Settings, with secure email confirmation.
• A cleaner, unified ride summary screen — your session is now named
after the route you rode.
• Fixed date fields on iPhone/iPad so plan and library dates respect
your regional format.
• Quick shortcut to the Ramp Test when you don't have fitness data yet.
1.2.1940 Jun 25
New: Free Ride mode — record a ride from any Bluetooth sensors (power meter, heart-rate, trainer), no smart trainer needed. Live cockpit with zone-coloured power & heart rate, pause/resume, hold-to-talk coach and Picture-in-Picture.
Improved: redesigned Start Ride screen (Free Ride / Route Simulation / Workout), a shareable public profile, friendlier training plans with completed-workout hiding and ride linking, plus mobile layout polish.

Meet your AI Coach
A brand-new Coach tab. Ask it anything about your training in plain language and it answers using your actual plan — your weekly load, what's coming up, and how you're tracking. It can even start a workout for you straight from the chat. Tappable quick-reply suggestions make follow-ups one tap away, and it replies in your own language (English, Polish, German, Dutch).
Your coach now talks
• Proactive voice cues during your workout, powered by natural-sounding voices.
• Faster replies that stream as they're generated, so you hear them almost instantly.
• Independent toggles for AI Coach and Spoken Alerts, so you control what talks.
Smarter, clearer training plans
• Plan cards now show a completion donut, your next workout, and a status badge at a glance.
• A new structured block editor lets you build and edit planned workouts interval-by-interval.
• Power-timeline previews appear on workout cards and setup pages, so you can see a session's shape before you start.
Better workouts under the hood
• New Sweet Spot (Z3, 88–94% FTP) zone surfaced throughout the app.
• Smarter warmups that step up gradually, plus a recovery-power floor for safer, more progressive sessions.
• ERG trainer fix: the workout timeline now correctly freezes when you pause, so your trainer no longer drifts to the wrong target.
Plus
• Optionally add a WattLog promo line to activities you upload to Strava.
• New account registration is now open.
• Stability, security, and dependency improvements.
1.2.1819 Jun 19
- Training plan library is now fully translated into German, Dutch, and Polish — plan names and descriptions, not just the app shell.
- Your language choice now sticks. The app no longer switches back to your phone's language after you log out or reopen it.
- Fixed a bug where activating a training plan could lose its interval structure. Plans now keep their workout steps exactly as designed.
- Training load planning: your fitness/freshness (TSB) now has a safe floor, with a clear warning and an override when you're pushing your load budget too hard.
- Dashboard loads more smoothly — the fitness chart shows a loading placeholder instead of flashing empty while data arrives.
1.2.1710 Jun 15
Weekly Load Budget: We’ve added a new section to your dashboard to help you plan your week-over-week progression. Using your CTL and a new ramp-rate selector, it calculates a clear weekly training budget so you know exactly how hard to push.
Estimated TSS in Plans: You can now see the estimated TSS for every planned workout and training phase. This lets you check the expected load of a plan before you even get on the bike.
TSB Floor Protection: To help prevent overtraining, we added a safety net. The app will now block ramp-rate settings that drop your form (TSB) into the danger zone. If you know what you're doing and really want to dig deep, there's a manual override.
Strava Integration: Two-way sync is officially here. You can now automatically upload your rides to Strava and pull your past activities into the app.
Custom Heart Rate Zones: You can finally set your own HRmax and customize your heart rate zones directly in the app.
1.2.1708 Jun 11
Strava integration is here!
• Connect your Strava account in one tap
• Upload finished rides to Strava (power, heart rate, cadence)
• Import your Strava history to track your training load (TSS, CTL/ATL/TSB)
• Bug fixes and improvements
1.2.1662 Jun 9
Ramp Test - guided, automated FTP test with warmup, auto-increasing steps, and automatic finish. Your FTP saves straight to your profile.
Custom Heart Rate Zones - set your own max HR and edit all five zone boundaries per athlete; used for the live zone bar and time-in-zone.
Fixes & polish across the live workout screen and dashboard.
1.2.1655 Jun 8
• Readiness Score & Efficiency Insights — new dashboard section showing your current training form and fatigue level at a glance.
• Auto-pause — workout automatically pauses when no power is detected (e.g. you step off the bike) and resumes when you start pedalling again. Delay configurable in Settings.
• Device setup on Workout Templates — trainer and heart rate monitor can now be selected directly from the template start screen, consistent with other workout flows.
• Heart rate monitor reconnect — after resuming a paused workout the app automatically reconnects your HRM if it lost connection during the break.
1.2.1618 Jun 5
Guest Mode: You can now explore and use the app instantly without creating an account.
Performance Improvements: Bug fixes and optimization for a smoother, faster experience.
1.2.1559 Jun 1
What's New in This Version
This update focuses on training reliability and a smoother first-ride experience.
Trainer stays responsive when internet drops. Resistance changes and ERG interval transitions now run locally on your device. If your WiFi cuts out mid-ride, your trainer keeps responding — no more freezing at the last resistance level.
Your data is saved as you ride. Training data is now written to the server every 60 seconds. If the app crashes or your browser closes unexpectedly, you lose at most one minute of data instead of the entire session.
Easier first ride. New riders are now guided through creating an athlete profile and setting their FTP before they see the dashboard — no more hunting through menus to get started.
Bug fixes and stability improvements.
