LocalBrain AI helps you organize articles, documents, recordings and ideas into a personal knowledge base.
Record or import audio and local videos in a dedicated Recordings & Transcripts tab. Audio shared from other apps opens there directly. Transcribe on your device with Whisper, listen while editing, save your changes and follow the currently playing paragraph. AI selects highlights as direct transcript excerpts with playback timestamps. Recordings and transcripts remain saved in this workspace. You can also add their content to your knowledge base through an explicit action.
Chat separately, browse saved source categories and related topics, and ask questions about your knowledge base. Translate conversations using text and voice; voice availability depends on your device, language and downloaded models.
AI inference runs on device. Initial model downloads, web search and external links require internet access. Supported local features work offline after model setup. Transcription, correction and translation can contain errors; review important details.
Pro costs NT$90 for one calendar month or NT$990 for one calendar year. Access expires unless you choose to purchase again; there are no automatic charges. Free includes 10 chat questions and 5 text or voice translations per day, and transcription up to 10 minutes per file. Pro removes those paid limits while active; device and source limits still apply. Existing lifetime and early paid users keep permanent Pro; existing lifetime Family Sharing is preserved. App Store pricing and availability apply.
Text, PDF and image knowledge imports have no paid quantity limit.
