Separate speakers (beta): an on-device voice model labels every participant in the transcript, colour-coded so you can follow one voice at a glance.
Rename speakers, or let Meeting-Rec suggest names from what was said in the meeting — each with a supporting quote, applied only when you approve.
AI notes can attribute statements and action items to speakers.
No voiceprints or profiles are ever stored.

FREE VS PRO
Free includes: unlimited audio recording, on-device transcription and structured AI notes, AI search, snapshots, and 720p video. Monthly free limits: 10 hours of transcription, 30 AI searches, and 5 hours of video.
Pro removes all limits and adds: automatic Teams recording (start/stop), session merging, slide extraction with OCR, and video up to 4K.

Pro is an optional upgrade — choose what suits you:

- Pro Monthly — $5.99/month (auto-renewable subscription)
The Monthly and Yearly plans are auto-renewable subscriptions: they renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your App Store account settings. Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not renew.

Meeting-Rec can now tell your meeting participants apart.
• Separate speakers (beta): an on-device voice model labels each participant in the transcript — Me, Speaker 1, Speaker 2, … Nothing about voices is ever stored.
• Colour-coded transcript: every speaker gets a subtle colour, so you can follow one voice through the whole meeting at a glance.
• Rename speakers, merge duplicates — or use "Suggest names…", which proposes names from what was said in the meeting, each with a supporting quote. Nothing is applied until you approve it.
• AI notes can now attribute statements and action-item owners to speakers (optional, and the model is told never to guess).
• The stop-recording reminder now also notices when your meeting window closes — no more recordings that quietly run on after everyone has left.
Speaker separation is opt-in under Settings → Transcription and free during the beta. As always, everything stays on your Mac.
