ENDLESS PLAY Tap the Random Mix die on Now Playing or the queue for a never-ending mix of your library by song, album or artist. Your server's own "Don't Stop The Music" styles sit right beside it. Both stay in step when you start or stop a mix from another app or another TV. MUSIC INFO Press the info button on Now Playing or the queue for the artist's story, the album review, scrolling lyrics and track details, with a shortcut to more by the artist. Hold on any artist, album or favourite to read about it right there. Readers are built for the sofa: swipe to scroll, Menu to go back, and a visible way out on every page. NOW PLAYING The album cover now fills the screen behind the controls, softly blurred so everything stays readable, even over dark artwork. VISUALIZER Much smoother on older Apple TVs. A demanding scene no longer stops the picture or quits the app, scenes no longer switch by themselves the moment you open it, and a rare pause when changing scenes is gone. PLAYLISTS AND QUEUE With something queued, the Playlists screen offers to save it as a new playlist. Empty Queue and Playlists screens now give you somewhere to go, and queue changes made from another app show up promptly. ALSO FIXED Playback recovers properly after handing audio to another AirPlay device. Lyrics and artist info keep following the music when you watch another room's player. Covers no longer linger from the previous album, and albums with very little information fill in properly. Returning to the app is quicker, and empty screens read properly with VoiceOver.

Service logos, easier to see - tracks, queue rows and favourites from Tidal, Bandcamp, BBC Sounds and other services show the service's own logo at a size that reads from the sofa. Favourites tiles and the Now Playing artwork carry it neatly in the corner. Queue follows live radio - when a station changes songs, the queue updates with it. Favourites you can trust - quick presses, hearts on several screens at once, or removing favourites back-to-back can no longer create duplicates or remove the wrong one. Tidier Now Playing - a cleaner quality line showing your stream and output rates. Neater Apps tab - app tiles now line up exactly like your album cards.

• 290 new visualiser scenes — the scene library nearly doubles to 640: kaleidoscopic fractals, glow shapes, bubble fields, spirals and more. • Album quick actions — long-press any album cover for a menu: Play Now, Add Next, Add to End, add to Favourites, and Go to Artist. Available on every album grid in the app. • Play with a single press — pressing Select on a track or queue row now plays it straight away. • The built-in player no longer comes up quiet — the Apple TV player used to connect at the server's default volume (about half), attenuating its output. It now sets its server volume to full when it connects, and you control loudness from your TV or amplifier as usual. On by default — toggle it from the player's long-press menu. • A smoother visualizer too — the most demanding scenes now stay fluid on every Apple TV generation by adapting picture detail on the fly, instead of stuttering or freezing. • Fixes — the built-in player reconnects by itself after a Lyrion server restart or a brief network drop; long-press menus no longer flicker; album and artist pages gained matching Play Now / Add Next / Add to End buttons.
