Rope of Prayer
Tactile meditation beads
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Rope of Prayer is a virtual prayer rope — a faith-neutral meditation tool that brings the ancient tradition of counting beads into your pocket.
Choose your tradition at launch: a 33-bead Orthodox chotki or a 59-bead Catholic rosary. Switch any time from settings — both live in the same app.
Navigate beads using touch, swipe, or the volume buttons (even with the screen off). Each bead has its own subtle texture and haptic signature, so you can
feel where you are without looking. Tilt your phone and watch the light shift across each knot.
Features:
• Haptic feedback on every bead — each one feels slightly different
• Volume button navigation, even with screen locked
• Built-in prayer sequences: Psalm 23, Psalm 51, the Beatitudes, the four Mystery sets
• Customizable prayer text and personal audio notes for each bead
• Four bead styles: classic knot, simple, wooden bead, prayer rope knot
• Horizontal or vertical rope layout
• Gyroscope-responsive light reflection on beads
• Dark, minimal interface — no distractions
• 100% private — no accounts, no cloud, no tracking, no ads
• Multiple languages supported
