Clearer payments "Payment" now reads "Payment to Co-Parent" everywhere, so it is never confused with paying a bill or a store. If an entry looks like it may be the wrong type, FairLedger asks before saving it. Approval alerts in the app When your co-parent approves or denies a transaction, you see it in the app right away instead of waiting on an email. Notification settings A new Notifications section under Account lets you choose what you hear about and how often. Subscribe from your iPhone You can now start and manage your subscription directly in the app, under Account > Plan & Billing. Plus wording and display enhancements throughout the ledger.

Message Review Before you send a message, tap Review. It checks what you have written using the BIFF method (brief, informative, friendly, firm) and suggests a calmer version. Hard conversations stay factual, and the record stays clean. A better way to invite your co-parent Invite emails from a new app often land in spam. Now you send the join link yourself, from your own email or text, so it comes from someone your co-parent recognizes. A pending invite is visible on your account with the date it was sent, and you can resend it or copy the link any time. FairLedger Statement Generate a clear, invoice style statement of what is owed. Print it, save it as a PDF, or share a link with the other parent. No account needed to view it. Pick the ledger and categories you want to include. Your balance now shows what is pending If you have entered expenses your co-parent has not reviewed yet, your balance no longer reads as settled. You will see how much is waiting on them and how much is waiting on you, so nothing you have recorded is hidden. Notes on calendar events Events now have a Notes field for the detail that does not belong in the title, so a title stays short and readable on the calendar. Calendar and custody A redesigned calendar with clearer colors, five more custody schedule patterns (every other week, 3-4-4-3, 4-3, 5-2), and the ability to record a custody swap in solo mode. Expenses and recurring transactions View receipts without leaving the app. Edit a recurring transaction, and set any split percentage instead of picking from presets. In duo families, changing a financial term sends the rule back for approval. Account deletion you can undo Deleting your account now starts a 30 day window. Sign back in during that time and restore everything exactly as it was. After 30 days it is permanently erased, including receipts and documents. Fixes and polish Faster Getting Started, clearer empty states, a Done button and save confirmation on detail screens, first name hints on name fields, corrected dates on reports, and a number of smaller fixes throughout.
