• NEW: Super Paw! Fill the frenzy bar, then press and hold to charge a giant pounce that catches every mouse around. • Catches feel bouncier: your cat stays in the action and chains catch after catch. • Livelier world: mice scurry, your cat blinks, swishes its tail and watches the mice. • New: watch a short optional video on the results screen to get a free power-up.

• A behind-the-scenes update — the game stays just the way you love it. • Thank you for playing with us — meow!

• New in Settings: "Anonymous usage data". It helps us see which parts of the game kids enjoy. No names, no account, no advertising or device ID. A grown-up can turn it off at any time. • Small fixes.

• New: your cat's home is now a real room! Wash, brush, visit the doctor and tuck your cat into bed. • Caring fills the new Happiness bar: earn a soft bed, toys, a flower crown, a bell collar and a cat house. • At Happiness level 5, meet Fluffy, the 11th cat: the first hit each round costs no heart. • Small fixes.

• New: LEARN mode! Mice now carry colour badges, numbers and letters — catch the ones that match the target at the top. A wrong tap just scares the mouse off: no hearts lost, no points lost. Colours, numbers and letters take turns every round. • Tap your chosen cat on the Cats screen: it bounces, meows and hearts fly. • Small fixes.

• Beat your own best. After every round you now see your top scores on this device, with a New record ribbon when you top them. Signed in to Game Center? Your global rank and the top three appear too. • Watch out for the dog and the bee! Around eight seconds in, one comes for your cat — swipe left or right anywhere on the screen to dodge. Three hits end the round, and the usual watch-an-ad continue refills your hearts. • Rounds are snappier: classic is now 35 seconds and sprint 20, so the King Mouse shows up sooner. • Four new soft sounds — a woof, a buzz, a whoosh and a little ouch — made gentle for small ears, like the rest of the game.

• Whisker Pounce is now a real iPad game. The cat, the mice and every button are sized for the bigger screen, and the scenery is composed for it instead of being cropped from a phone. • The sun, the moon and the kitchen window no longer hide behind the score bar — on iPhone either.

• The game now plays properly on iPad. The cat, the mice and every button are sized for the bigger screen instead of being stretched from a phone. • Layout polish throughout.

• The game now speaks Polish, Portuguese and Spanish! • New Settings screen: turn the sound off, set music and effects, and pick your language. • Far fewer ads — your first rounds are completely ad-free, and an ad never comes between a catch and your stars. • Play on consecutive days and earn bonus coins. • Every world now has its own special mouse, and the costumed cats' super powers finally work in play. • Smaller download.

• Whisker Pounce now speaks your language — the App Store page is available in 16 languages! • Small fixes and polish.
