Two new ways to find your next palette Mood Boards: choose 3–7 favorite photos and turn them into a share-ready Mood Board with five extracted colors and hex codes. Crop your photos, change the title, save your board, or turn it straight into a coloring palette. Classic layouts are free; Hueforia Pro adds five Editorial layouts. Text to Palette: with Hueforia Pro, describe a mood, place, or memory and get fresh palette directions to explore. I’ve also made a few behind-the-scenes improvements to keep everything feeling smooth.

Palette Duos are here. Start with any five-color palette and Hueforia can build a matched five-color companion, giving you a ten-color working set for fuller pages, backgrounds, details, and richer shadows. Easy mode suggests the best companion automatically. Hueforia checks harmony, value range, Bloom usefulness, and practical marker fit before recommending the pairing. Hueforia Pro unlocks Advanced Duo relationships, so you can steer the companion deeper, lighter, warmer, cooler, quieter, punchier, or more grounded. Pro and Founding Colorists can also save Duo references as PDF or PNG. This update also refreshes onboarding, adds more color-vibe preferences, improves Palette Box support for saved Duos, stops palette pages opening with a swatch selected by default, and adds subtle reveal animations across small in-app sections.

Hueforia now gives colorists more control over how a palette begins. You can build a palette manually by choosing all five colors yourself, one swatch at a time. Start from a color you already love, enter a hex code, or use the picker to find the exact shade you want. Hueforia then turns each color into a full Bloom, with a deep shadow, mid shadow, base, soft highlight and bright highlight. Photo palettes have also been improved. Hueforia can still pull a palette from a photo automatically, but the loupe is there when one particular color matters. Exact picks now look more faithful on the palette page, while the Bloom still gives you the shade-ready version for coloring. This update also adds Tonal Layering for generated vibe palettes. Plain version: Hueforia now pays more attention to light and dark when it builds a palette. Instead of giving you five colors that all feel similar in strength, it can spread them out more naturally. One color may work better as a shadow, another as a middle tone, and another as a lighter accent. That means the palette has more depth before you even start coloring, without needing to study color theory. Also included: Seasonal Summer palettes, cleaner PDF and share-card exports, better highlights for exact picks, and Ohuhu marker codes in copy buttons when your series is selected.

Start a palette from a photo You can now build a palette straight from a photo. Pick one from your library and Hueforia pulls out five colors — each one ready to bloom into its full range of shadows and highlights. Got a specific color in mind? Tap "Pick by hand" and slide the magnifier over the photo to grab the exact shade you want. (A little Pro touch, for when there's one perfect color hiding in there.) I've also tidied a few things behind the scenes to keep your Palette Box safe and sound and the app running smoothly — and nudged the marker suggestions a touch closer while I was at it. A few lovely little additions this time. • More Ohuhu markers (still experimental, and always unofficial) — your palettes now match the Oahu and Kaala sets too, not just Honolulu.
