WHAT'S IN THE APP
• Roster — month view with block, duty, off, and flight-day totals.
Filter by date range, jump to today, hide trips from friends.
• Flight detail — crew listing with heavy-crew pairing variations
(A/B/C/D for ULR ops), great-circle route map, registration,
aircraft type, load, and layover hotel.
• Logbook — auto-built 12-month history. Aerolog-compatible export.
• Stats & FTL — block, duty, and flight-time-limit totals across
rolling windows. Always in pocket.
• Expiry tracking — licences, medicals, and recurrent training
countdown. Never miss a renewal.

• Layover & airport info — local time, weather, sunrise/sunset.
• Crew Mail — read-only mirror of your eCrew inbox.
• Flyers Social — share your roster privately with colleagues,
even across airlines (more below).
• Live Activities — next-duty countdown on the Lock Screen and
Dynamic Island.

FLYERS PRO
Flyers is a subscription — every feature above is included, with
nothing held back behind a second paywall.
• 7-day free trial, then $2.99/month or $19.99/year.
• Cancel anytime. Apple handles all billing — manage in Settings →
Apple ID → Subscriptions.
FLYERS SOCIAL
Share your roster with the colleagues who matter to you — pilot,
crew, partner, family — even when they fly for a different airline.
• Add friends by their public @handle. No phone numbers, no emails
exposed.
• Accept or block as you choose.
• Hide individual events from friends with a single tap.
• Get push updates when their roster changes.
Cross-airline, opt-in, end-to-end via Apple's CloudKit. Your data
never sits on a third-party server.
PRIVACY FIRST
Flyers talks only to your airline's eCrew portal and to your own
iCloud. No analytics, no third-party SDKs, no telemetry, no
advertising. Your eCrew credentials live in the iOS Keychain on
your device only.
• No tracking. No ads. No third-party servers.
• Credentials never leave your device.
• Roster shared only with friends you explicitly accept.
• Delete everything from inside the app whenever you want.
SUPPORTED AIRLINES
Flyers logs you into the AIMS eCrew portal. Pick your carrier on
first launch:
Etihad Airways · Atlas Air · Air Astana · Wizz Air · Royal
Jordanian · China Airlines · Vueling · Iberia Express · Sun
Country Airlines
Etihad is our most battle-tested tenant — we verify the parsers
live against it. The other carriers run on the same AIMS eCrew
platform and are newly added, so the 7-day free trial lets you
confirm your roster loads correctly before you ever pay. Hit a
snag on your tenant? Email us and we'll sort it fast.

iOS 26+. iPhone and iPad. Built for crew, by crew.
more New in Flyers 3.2.1:
• Training duty details fixed — tapping a training, recurrent (RTA) or simulator duty dated in a future month opened an almost-empty screen ("No crew listed for this session"). Flyers now shows the instructor, trainees, training facility and course memo for every month on your roster, with the duty titled by its full description.
The privacy model is unchanged: notifications remain opt-in, server monitoring remains a separate explicit consent flow, and roster-change pushes remain signal-only. Always verify duties on the official eCrew portal.
3.2.1 Jul 25
• Fixed a crash that could quit the app when you tapped a Flyers notification — roster change, report reminder, expiry or crew mail — while the app was in the background. Tapping a notification now always opens the screen it points to.
• What's Changed is back on the Dashboard — the sparkles button in the top bar opens your roster-change history any time, with a badge while unread changes are waiting.
• Clearer refresh errors — if a refresh fails because your connection is down, the Roster now says "Can't reach eCrew — check your internet connection" instead of a generic portal error.
The privacy model is unchanged: notifications remain opt-in, server monitoring remains a separate explicit consent flow, and roster-change pushes remain signal-only. Always verify duties on the official eCrew portal.
3.2.0 Jul 21
• Your theme, everywhere — System, Light, Dark and Airline appearance plus six personal accent colours now restyle every tab and screen, instantly. Night Ops keeps its red-only cockpit palette, and safety colours keep their normal meanings.
• Scenic heroes — the Dashboard next-duty card and Flight Detail now show a sunrise, day, sunset or night sky for your departure with landmark line art for your route's cities, all drawn on your device. The hero and turnaround card now show the duty's date too.
• Complete turnarounds — multi-sector pairings stay together with each leg's date, times and status, and Next on Roster lists every upcoming sector so no flying day looks missing.
• The themed background gradient now follows you into every Hub tool and screen.
• Fit for Duty — reporting sick is done over the telephone as Etihad requires, so only a fit declaration can be submitted in the app.
The privacy model is unchanged: notifications remain opt-in, server monitoring remains a separate explicit consent flow, and roster-change pushes remain signal-only. Always verify duties on the official eCrew portal.
3.1.0 Jul 20
- Fixed a resume-session issue where Flyers could show **Portal trouble** after the app was minimized and reopened.
- Retry now recovers a soft-stale eCrew session in-place by allowing the schedule fetch to trigger the existing silent re-authentication path.
- Force-closing and reopening the app should no longer be required to recover from this specific foreground-resume state.
- The App Review-safe Settings cleanup from 3.0.6 remains in place: internal push/backend diagnostics are hidden in Release/TestFlight, and optional server monitoring only appears when production monitoring infrastructure is configured or the device is already enrolled.
3.0.7 Jul 13
Optional server eCrew monitoring is here. If you explicitly enable it in Settings, Flyers can receive a signal-only roster-change push even when iOS does not wake the app. Open the notification and Flyers refreshes eCrew on your iPhone, computes the exact What's Changed diff locally, saves it to the review history, and opens the review sheet.
The server push does not contain roster details, duty times, hotel data, raw eCrew content, cookies, or credentials. Roster alerts remain best-effort — always verify duties on the official eCrew portal.
3.0.6 Jul 8
• Dark-mode subscription fixes — the Flyers Pro paywall, plan cards and the Dashboard Pro badge now adapt to Dark, Airline and Night Ops themes instead of
staying white and making text hard to read.
• Better next-duty countdown — the Dashboard hero now moves from REPORT IN to DEPARTS IN to LANDS IN as your duty progresses, so the countdown no longer
climbs after report time has passed.
• Cleaner roster PDF exports — Export as PDF now creates a compact landscape roster report with one readable row per duty, including route, report/depart/
arrival times, block time, aircraft and notes.
• More dark-theme polish — expiry rows and fit-for-duty action surfaces now use adaptive card colours for better contrast across Flyers' appearance modes.
3.0.5 Jul 7
This update makes your roster and next-duty info clearer:
• Export your roster as a clean, easy-to-read logbook-style table. All your duties now print together in one organized report — no more one duty per page.
• Fixed the “Report in” countdown on the Dashboard so it always counts down correctly. Once you’ve reported and departed, it now rolls forward to show time to departure and time to landing.
Thanks for flying with Flyers!
3.0.4 Jul 4
This build fixes the Roster summary's Block and Duty totals: for a selected date range they now sum eCrew's own authoritative per-day block/duty figures (the same values the portal's duty-stats panel reports) instead of estimating block from each flight's scheduled departure→arrival span, which could read high for an upcoming month. The current-month total continues to use the portal's published figure, so the Roster, Dashboard, and Stats screens agree.
It also retains this version's reliability work: foreground/reopen refreshes wait for the app, network, and Face ID resume lock to settle before hitting the portal; clearer live-vs-cached roster confidence states; last-known-good roster data is preserved on failed refreshes; non-live-tested airlines are labelled **"(not live verified)"**; and credential-free public portal fingerprinting is used for AIMS eCrew research only. No new data collection, analytics, advertising, or third-party network SDKs were added.
3.0.3 Jun 30
• Fresh new app icon — a brighter globe-and-aircraft mark on Flyers' signature gradient.
• Roster-change alerts are now ON by default — no need to find the Settings switch (turn them off any time in Settings › Notifications). They remain best-effort; always confirm duties on the official eCrew portal.
• Smarter change detection — Flyers now also alerts you when a duty changes kind (for example a deadhead becoming an operating flight, or OFF becoming leave) and when a duty is extended at the back end, not only when times or routes move.
• Clearer expiry tracking — the Hub and Dashboard now surface the licence, medical, and recurrent checks due within the next 90 days, show the closest one first, and badge how many are coming up — drawn from your full eCrew expiry list for accuracy.
• Smoother offline sign-in — open your cached roster in Airplane Mode or with no signal without waiting on a timeout; "Continue offline" stays available.
• Fixes — the on-screen keyboard no longer lingers after a Flight Information search; fewer spurious "new duty" alerts on the first sync; a change to tonight's duty is no longer dropped near midnight; safer handling of unexpected portal responses.
3.0.2 Jun 29
This update makes the in-app Pilot Logbook Report export work.
- Export and share your logbook — open the Pilot Logbook Report in the Hub, then save or share it straight from the viewer as a PDF or send it through Mail, Files, AirDrop and more. Previously the viewer's Export buttons didn't produce a file.
- Reliability and polish fixes.
3.0.1 Jun 28
Flyers 3.0 is a complete redesign — a luminous, light "flight-deck at dawn" look across the whole app — and Flyers Pro now unlocks the entire app with a 7-day free trial.
- All-new ALTITUDE design: a luminous light theme with a living-horizon next-duty hero, soft floating cards, oversized numerals, and a refreshed type system. Dark, Airline, and Night Ops looks are still available in Settings.
- Report Fit for Duty in-app: declare yourself fit — or report unfit — for your next duty without opening the eCrew web portal.
- Refreshed FLYERS launch animation and wordmark.
- Theme controls: choose System / Light / Dark / Airline, pick an accent colour, and switch on Night Ops for dark adaptation.
- Every screen redesigned — Dashboard, Roster, Flight detail, Stats, Hub, Crew Mail, Pay estimate, Fatigue, Logbook and more.
- Flyers Pro now unlocks the full app, with a 7-day free trial — Monthly $2.99 or Yearly $19.99 — and your trial countdown shows right on the Dashboard.
- Your pilot logbook report now opens inside the app, signed in to your eCrew session, instead of a browser.
- Numerous reliability, layout, and accessibility fixes (Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion, larger-text safety throughout).
3.0.0 Jun 27
Flyers 2.0 is a major operational upgrade:
- New Operational Readiness Desk on Dashboard for SYNC, ACK, EXPIRY, MAIL, FTL and NEXT duty.
- New Night Ops mode with a dim red cockpit palette for night use.
- Live report/start countdown in the next-duty card.
- Safer eCrew roster refresh and acknowledgement handling.
- Crew Mail now preserves must-acknowledge alerts until the message is opened or acknowledged.
- More accurate Pay Estimate with real sectors plus night-duty, standby, training and layover inputs.
- Privacy hardening with release-safe diagnostics and app/widget privacy manifests.
- Improved roster calendar reliability, stronger activity contrast and clearer today marking.
- Fixed duplicated standby, simulator and layover duties that could appear twice (UTC and local time) when Local time was selected in Settings.
- Operational Readiness Desk now matches the rest of the app in Night Ops mode instead of tinting every tile red.
2.0.0 Jun 24
This update fixes a sign-in issue and brings Flyers to iPad and Mac.
• More reliable sign-in — Flyers now signs you in even when part of the crew portal is temporarily unavailable, so a portal hiccup no longer blocks access to your roster.
• Built for iPad & Mac — Flyers adapts to the bigger screen: a two-column Dashboard; a list and the selected tool or detail side-by-side in Hub, Friends, Mail and Roster; comfortable reading width; trackpad pointer highlighting; and ⌘R to refresh your roster. On iPhone, everything works exactly as before.
• Steadier connection — Flyers now reconnects to the crew portal cleanly when you reopen the app after it's been in the background.
• The day of the week on your Dashboard — your next-duty card and the Upcoming list now show the weekday (Mon, Tue, …) next to each date.
• Expiry dates explained — a new "About these dates" guide on the Expiry screen covers how completing a recurrent check (e.g. an OPC) within the 3 months before expiry normally keeps your previous expiry date, which matters especially for Mixed Fleet Flying (A380/A350).
• Verify your dates — a standing reminder to check expiry dates against your official records. Flyers shows the portal's dates exactly and never recalculates them.
1.5.2 Jun 22
Flyers is now built for iPad and Mac — with clearer dates and a steadier connection to the crew portal.
• Built for iPad & Mac — Flyers adapts to the bigger screen: a two-column Dashboard; a list and the selected tool or detail side-by-side in Hub, Friends, Mail and Roster; comfortable reading width instead of edge-to-edge; trackpad pointer highlighting; and ⌘R to refresh your roster. On iPhone, everything works exactly as before.
• Steadier connection — Flyers now reconnects to the crew portal cleanly when you reopen the app after it's been in the background, so you see your roster instead of a connection error.
Flyers shows the portal's dates exactly as given and never recalculates them.
1.5.1 Jun 22
Standby and other non-flight duties now show their start and end times.
• Your Dashboard next-duty card, the greeting summary, and the Upcoming list now display the from–to window for standby (and simulator/training/positioning) duties — so you can see at a glance exactly when a standby begins and ends, not just which day.
• All-day availability is clearly labelled.
Thanks for flying with Flyers — keep the feedback coming.
1.4.2 Jun 20
Simulator & roster refinements.
• See your simulator crew — simulator and recurrent-training duties now open a detail screen showing the instructor, your fellow trainees, the training facility, and any briefing memo.
• Your next duty, not just your next flight — a simulator or training day now appears on the Dashboard, the next-duty card, and the home-screen widget instead of being skipped for a later flight.
• Greeted by name — the Dashboard now greets you by your first name. Set exactly how it addresses you under Settings → Appearance → Preferred name.
• Tap any crew member on a flight to expand their full name and complete details — crew ID, base, aircraft, seniority, and duty limits — so long names are never cut off.
1.4.1 Jun 16
Roster changes now wait for you.
When your roster changes, nothing is acknowledged until you've seen it. Flyers shows a clear review card — times, routes, aircraft, added or removed duties — and you tap Accept to confirm (which also acknowledges it on eCrew). Choose Review later and a banner keeps the change one tap away until you do.
See your simulator crew.
Simulator and training duties now open to a full detail screen — who's instructing, who's training with you, the training facility, and any briefing memo — straight from your roster.
• Review-and-accept for every roster change — see it before it's acknowledged
• One Accept also confirms the change on eCrew, no need to open the portal
• Tap any simulator/training duty for its crew, facility and memo
• More reliable crew lists on flights, too
• As always, your eCrew password never leaves your device
1.4.0 Jun 15
A fresh first impression.
• The FLYERS welcome screen has a refreshed wordmark and a quick, elegant
launch animation — gone in about a second, never in your way.
• Prefer to skip it? Turn the splash off any time under
Settings → Appearance. It also respects your system Reduce Motion setting
automatically.
Plus small refinements under the hood.
1.3.1 Jun 15
Flyers 1.3 makes the whole app quicker to act on — and harder to mislead.
NOTIFICATIONS THAT TAKE YOU THERE
• Tap a report reminder → the flight's detail screen. Tap an expiry alert →
your Expiry Dates. Tap a roster change → the Dashboard.
• Alerts now appear even while Flyers is open.
• Standby, training, and positioning duties get report reminders too — with
the time in YOUR chosen zone (UTC, base, or local), clearly labelled.
YOUR TIME ZONE, EVERYWHERE
• Home-screen and lock-screen widgets now show report/departure/arrival in
the same zone as the app, with a UTC/GST badge.
• Siri and Shortcuts answers follow the same setting.
FASTER TO REACH
• Tap the Dashboard's next-duty card or any Upcoming row to open the flight.
• Long-press a roster flight to copy its number or a one-line summary.
• Crew Mail is now searchable.
CALENDAR EXPORT, WITHOUT DUPLICATES
• Re-exporting your roster now replaces the previous Flyers events instead
of piling up copies. (iOS will ask once to upgrade calendar access.)
PRIVACY & RELIABILITY
• With App Lock on, returning to Flyers after a while asks for Face ID, and
the app preview in the app switcher is hidden.
• Fixed a rare race that could briefly show a truncated roster, made
sign-out fully cancel in-flight syncs, and a failed expiry refresh can no
longer show a false "all clear".
• Better VoiceOver support across Expiry Dates, Crew Mail, login, and the
widgets.
1.3.0 Jun 12
A reliability-focused update across the whole app:
• Live Activity now stays on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island through
the duty — it no longer disappears shortly after report time.
• Flyers signs back in automatically when your eCrew session expires, so
screens like Crew Directory load instead of showing an error.
• Sturdier reminders: expiry and report alerts survive sync hiccups, and
notification settings now take effect immediately.
• Acknowledge roster changes right from the Roster tab.
• Clearer error messages with retry buttons throughout, and many smaller
fixes to Flight Information, Stats, widgets, and the demo experience.
1.2.3 Jun 10
This update makes Crew Directory more reliable :
• If a refresh hiccups, you'll now see the colleague's last-saved roster
instead of an error.
• If a roster change is waiting in eCrew, you can acknowledge it right
from this screen and refresh — no need to switch to the eCrew app.
• Clearer wording when a colleague simply has no published roster yet.
Plus minor reliability improvements.
1.2.2 Jun 8
This update refines the Live Activity and Dynamic Island for your next
flight:
• Lock Screen: the report time and countdown now sit on one balanced,
centered line, at a matching size so neither is hard to read.
• Dynamic Island: a compact report time when collapsed (slimmer pill),
and a cleaner, centered layout — with no clipped text — when expanded.
Plus minor reliability improvements.
1.2.1 Jun 6
Flight Information — see who's operating any flight
Look up the crew on any flight in the network. Open Hub → Flight
Information, search by flight number, route, carrier, aircraft type or
registration for any date, then tap a flight to see its full operating
crew — flight deck and cabin, with positions, bases, PIC and photos.
Also in this update:
• Stats now show accurate block and duty hours for the current month,
in line with your Roster and Dashboard.
• Reliability and polish improvements.
Flyers still talks only to your eCrew portal and keeps your credentials
in the device Keychain — no third-party tracking, ever.
1.2.0 Jun 1
Never miss a renewal. Flyers now reminds you before your licences,
medicals, and recency checks lapse.
• Expiry reminders — a heads-up 90, 30, and 7 days before each expiry,
and again on the day, with an "Expiring soon" card right on your
Dashboard. Turn it on or off in Settings → Notifications.
• Polish and reliability improvements throughout.
Thanks for flying with Flyers.
1.1.0 May 31
• Home-screen & lock-screen widgets — add the Next Duty widget to see your
next flight, route, and a live countdown to report at a glance. Small,
medium, and lock-screen sizes.
• The lock-screen / Dynamic Island report countdown now keeps ticking even
when the app is closed.
• Optional Face ID lock — turn on "Unlock with Face ID" in Settings →
Security to require Face ID (or your passcode) each time you open Flyers.
• "Continue offline" is more reliable — you'll always be able to reach your
cached roster without a connection, with a passcode fallback if Face ID
isn't available.
• Cabin crew: your rank and name now display correctly.
• Reliability improvements to how rosters, duty details, and crew mail are
read from the eCrew portal.
1.0.11 May 31
New in Flyers 3.2.1:
• Training duty details fixed — tapping a training, recurrent (RTA) or simulator duty dated in a future month opened an almost-empty screen ("No crew listed for this session"). Flyers now shows the instructor, trainees, training facility and course memo for every month on your roster, with the duty titled by its full description.
The privacy model is unchanged: notifications remain opt-in, server monitoring remains a separate explicit consent flow, and roster-change pushes remain signal-only. Always verify duties on the official eCrew portal.
