Practice music with tempo changes: chain BPM segments that switch on their own, with a count-off before each. Plus tap tempo, click sounds, and themes. Metrognomicon is a metronome that handles tempo changes for you. Most metronomes hold a single tempo. Metrognomicon lets you build a sequence of tempo segments, each with its own BPM and length, then plays straight through them, switching tempo on its own. Perfect for practicing pieces that speed up, slow down, or move between sections, and for tempo-ladder and interval work. Build your sequence • Add up to 10 segments, each from 40 to 240 BPM • Set each segment's length in beats or in time (m:ss)—whichever way you think • Color-coded blocks: tap to edit, hold to reorder, swipe up to delete • A count-off plays the last four beats before each tempo change, so you always hear it coming • Loop the whole sequence, or play it once and stop. One segment + loop = a classic metronome. Dial it in • Set the tempo by tap, slider, or exact keypad entry • Choose your click from a palette of sounds—woodblock, rim/clave, soft tick, digital blip, cowbell, pitched click • Pick a separate count-off sound, or turn it off • Keeps ticking when your screen locks or you switch apps Make it yours • A theme engine with a clean Default look and a vintage "Brushed Metal" hi-fi faceplate • Full Light and Dark Mode support No ads.
