Zhuyin Reader (注音小讀者) is a bopomofo practice and Chinese reading app for
children who are learning zhuyin, building character recognition, and starting
to read independently. Kids practice sounds, tones, character-finding and stroke
tracing — then put that practice to work on real stories and web pages.

Open a Chinese web page inside the app, or import a PDF or TXT file, and Zhuyin
Reader adds bopomofo annotations on top of the text and saves it to your child's
library. They read at their own pace — one character, one sentence, one page.

This update introduces the new Sentence Comprehension Room and gives parents a clearer view of their child’s learning progress:
• Primary school learners can read a complete sentence, answer a comprehension question, and choose the best answer from three options.
• Subscribers with enough practice history can create an A4 learning report for the past 7, 30, or 90 days. Reports are generated on the device and can be previewed, printed, or shared with teachers.
• Learning records and reports now organize practice by stage, from kindergarten through Grades 1 and 2.
• Learning activities can gradually advance to the next stage after consistent practice at the child’s current grade level.
• Improved challenge layouts on iPad, touch handling during rapid interactions, and overall stability.
