Your document vault just got a major upgrade. New - Scan your passport and we'll fill in the details for you — everything stays encrypted on your device. Improved - Unlocking your vault is much faster. - Show/hide buttons on every passphrase field. Fixed - Uploading documents to your vault works again. - Recovery phrases work again, so you can always get back in. - Round-trip cover photos now show your destination, not your home country.

Improved - Activities now sort into clearer categories — tours, museums, attractions, spas and more each show up distinctly, so your itinerary is easier to scan. Fixed - Setting up your secure document vault now works (it could previously get stuck on a "not set up" error). - The merge-contacts screen now reaches the bottom of the display.

A lot has landed since our last update — here's the good stuff. Live flight tracking, right on your timeline — watch your flight move on a map without leaving Trip42. Flight details are cleaner too, with a clearer delay badge, correct seat per traveller (now pulled automatically from your boarding pass), and an on/off toggle for live updates. "Before you fly" reminders are better timed, and cards tidy themselves away once you've taken off. New Plan & Wishlist tab — collect places and ideas you haven't booked yet, and slot them into the day when you're ready. Trips now open on the Timeline tab so you land where you expect. Manage bookings faster — select multiple bookings at once to move, delete, or merge. Parking and car rental now show as proper drop-off and pick-up entries, and the "Move to / Add to a trip" picker works smoothly again. Booking instructions, captured automatically — check-in steps, entry codes, and arrival notes now ride along with the right booking, and you can add or edit them anytime. Smarter eSIMs — we recognise multi-voucher packs, hold them for a quick review, and let you save the QR straight to Photos, copy the activation code the right way, and install in the app. Shareable trip links you control — share a polished public view of your trip and protect it when you want to. Multi-currency, done right — set your home currency and see reliable conversions across everything you've booked. Plus lots of polish: travel insurance now lands on your calendar with the right label, boarding passes look sharper (no more "Invalid Date"), place details flag when somewhere's closed, the support chat and pop-up sheets behave around the keyboard, and a trip starting tomorrow correctly reads "in 1 day". This update brings smarter eSIM handling, multi-currency expenses, better weather for multi-city trips, and a range of improvements and fixes. New - eSIMs made easy: Forward an eSIM order and Trip42 now recognises every voucher in it, shows a scannable QR code right inside the app, and adds a one-tap install button so you can set up your data plan in seconds. You can assign each eSIM to a traveller and open the original voucher too. - Expenses in your own currency: Choose your home currency in Settings and the Expenses tab converts every booking into it using the exchange rate from the day you paid, while still showing the amount you actually paid. Your home currency is detected automatically and can be changed any time. - Weather for multi-city trips: Each day now shows the forecast for the city you will be in that day, in the correct local time zone, with alerts for every destination. - Shared trips in your list: Trips you have accepted from someone else now appear in your trips list alongside your own. Improvements - Calendar sync and Sign in on the web are now grouped together under Pro Features in Settings, where you can also set your home currency. - More accurate flight tracking. - More reliable venue and place details on your bookings. - A refreshed, more consistent look across the app. - An updated Pro screen that reflects everything included in Pro.
