The new Down the Line view and Ghost features along with continuous improvements to the coaching language are really moving this app forward. The support is incredible! They respond almost immediately and fixes are released at lightning speed. There’s an amazing community of users sharing ideas and videos of how they were able to improve their swings. My only complaint is the app uses so much processing power my iPhone 15 Pro heats up after 5-7 swings and has to reduce the camera fps to avoid damaging the phone. The good news is the app does this for you automatically.

I’ve been a Rotary Swing member for years. I always appreciated Chuck’s logic and thoughts behind his teaching methods. I also appreciate that he has changed his mind as more data became available and he’s using AI to help figure out what’s driving the swing. He went from a lead side believe to a trail side because that’s where the data took him. As a member, I signed up for Goaty early and it took a while to get right but Chuck has kept at it and constantly improved it. The live coaching is where I use it most. No more guessing if you’re moving correctly or self analyzing. The AI tells you on every swing. The AI gives you one thing to work on at a time and when it’s sufficient will move onto the next. Once you learn how to use it, it is a game changes. There are times where you see the ghost overlay and you look identical but the AI tells you that you are off that can be frustrating. But it’s because the model can measure things more precisely than we can see. Once you trust it is correct then you can continue to work on one piece at a time.

I’ve been using the Goaty app consistently and have really been impressed with how often the software and features have been updated. It keeps getting better and better. The coaching cues with the swing fundamentals have been a tremendous help. I can do a live lesson anytime, anywhere as often as I like when it fits my schedule. I would have spent thousands in golf lessons compared to the very minimal monthly subscription I pay with Goaty. And the results? I officially reached 0.0 handicap last week after floating between 1-3 for the past year. Posted my best career round last week with a 67, 16/18 GIR, 11/14 FIR and 7 birdies. I give a lot of credit to the coaching I have received with Goaty AI. It really is a game changer if you commit to the coaching cues and swing fundamentals explained in the system. I don’t think about my upper body anymore. My swing starts from the ground up and it has simplified a game I have been playing for the past 40+ years.
