Gallery Cleaner is the simplest way to tidy a cluttered photo library — without giving up control or privacy.
Every flagged photo comes with a plain-English reason. Every deletion is recoverable from your device's Recently Deleted album for 30 days. Nothing is uploaded.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick the folders you want us to watch — Camera, Screenshots, downloads, messaging apps, whatever matters to you.
2. We scan them on-device and flag junk: blurry shots, near-duplicates, screenshots, QR codes, and low-quality frames.
3. Open the review grid — 15 photos at a time, each with a reason chip. Tap once to deselect anything you want to keep.
4. Tap Delete. Photos move to Recently Deleted, recoverable for 30 days from the Photos app.
WHY PEOPLE LIKE IT
- No mystery deletes. Every flag shows why. Blurry? Duplicate? Screenshot? You see the reason before you confirm.
- Deselected photos are "kept" — we never re-suggest them.
- Counts that mean something: forever totals of photos cleaned and storage freed. No streak shaming, no daily pressure.
- 2-3 taps from open to done. The review batch is pre-computed so the grid loads instantly.
PRIVACY BY DEFAULT
- All photo classification runs on your device. Your photos, their paths, and your folder names never leave the iPhone.
- Anonymous usage analytics (app opens, deletion counts, scan time) help us spot bugs and slowness. You can disable analytics in Settings if you prefer.
- Crash reports are anonymous diagnostics only — no photo content, no file paths.
- Ad-supported via Google AdMob. Ads are non-personalised by default; we don't request the App Tracking Transparency prompt in this release.
DELETION IS RECOVERABLE
Photos you delete move to your device's Recently Deleted album, not ours. Open Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted to recover anything within 30 days. We never keep a copy of your photo on our servers — because we don't have servers that see your photos.
FREE WITH ADS.
A quiet banner at the bottom of the screen, non-personalised by default. No pop-ups, no interstitials, no "watch a video to unlock". If we add a paid tier in a future version, the core cleaning experience stays free.
