- iPhone Duo support - Some encoding fixes

• Themes for Article/Reader. A new Default theme (the look you already know) at the front of the line. Classic finally gets the site's logo, parked in the corner. • Reader is no longer a sheet that slides over your article. It takes the article's place, the Reader button lights up in your accent colour, and Back does what Back does. • The article list picker now shows you the layouts instead of describing them. Six thumbnails, one tap. • Article/Reader Themes and the "Reader Instead of Article View" switch moved in together, under Appearance and right below the list layouts. • Site and author pills gained a little depth. Subtle. A gold star if you notice it at all. • Standard and Compact stop cutting headlines off at three lines. Long headlines now get to finish their sentences. • Font menus are in alphabetical order. We'll let you draw your own conclusions about what they were before. • Images from sites that guard against hotlinking (Ben's Bargains, we're looking at you) now load, instead of quietly not loading. • Accented letters and symbols arrive as café and 20°, rather than café and 20°.

• Podcast Search returns to the top of your Podcasts list. • New toggles in Settings › Podcasts: hide Search, Discover, or What's New if you never use them. • Download Latest Episode - switch it on per show and new episodes land ready to play offline. • Unread counts in folders now add up to the same number as Unread. As they always should have. • Downloaded episodes keep their artwork offline, and the Lock Screen no longer flashes an app icon we retired two versions ago. • Reader mode now shows which site you're reading, and who wrote it.

- Fixed an issue where the Podcast transcription service wasn't respecting the 'run only while charging' requirement, which could cause excessive battery drain. Fix that bug and now there is a message in the Settings > Podcast > Transcriptions area when they are actively being generated. - Other bug fixes and updates around removing the paywall.

Tags: tag articles yourself, or let uRSS tag them for you on your device after each refresh. Tags appear in the sidebar and at the bottom of each article. Accounts: the app now opens on Local Feeds and Local Podcasts. Sites: folders and sites collapse under one heading, like Tags. Plus "Go to Site" from Unread and Today, a redesigned topic picker, and fixes for an iPad crash when opening an account and a crash going back from the feed list.

Podcasts: Fixed an issue where pulling to refresh in Discover or What's New could clear the screen instead of updating it. If a refresh can't reach the service, your list now stays put and tells you what went wrong, with a Try Again button.

New features & UI reworks - Article list toolbar rework: unread count moved into a red pill next to the title; bottom bar rebuilt around Mark-All-Read / search field / Filter with a floating glass style, working keyboard dismiss/clear, and a smooth refresh animation. - Today + Unread smart feeds: new smart feeds with a unified filter-toggle bottom bar; per-view Filter badge and a sidebar Favorites count. - Sidebar long-press menus: context menus on the aggregate rows (Mark All Read / Remove All Favorites / Mark All Played). - Podcast player: playback speed menu (incl. 1.15x) and a sleep timer with 5/10-minute options and a live countdown under the scrubber. - Podcast background refresh: episodes refresh in the background, with a new "Refresh Podcasts" setting. - iPad keyboard shortcuts & menus: full File/Edit/View/Article/Window menu bar with shortcuts (Cmd-F Find in Feeds, etc.). - Refresh graphics: animated "Fetching Updates" antenna on the main and list views, monochrome accent, no scroll jump when a refresh starts. - Settings pickers: select menus replaced with a custom popover picker, accent-tinted checkmarks. Reading-flow behavior changes - Unread filter behavior: marking an article read (tap, swipe, menu, or Mark Above/Below) keeps it in the list instead of dropping it; read-on-open persists reliably. - Read-article dimming: archived/read articles dim to 0.4 opacity. - Instant mark-read/favorite: context-menu toggles update the row immediately with no flicker or cell blink. - Favorites view: no read styling there, and mark-all-read + filter are disabled where they don't apply. - Swipe actions: favorite icon is now a bookmark; swipe actions are icon-only. Remove All Favorites uses a slashed bookmark icon. - IPad launch: lands on Unread instead of an empty placeholder. Fixes - Crash unsubscribing a feed. - Crash from a row's context menu when the article was deleted while the menu was open (sync or cleanup landing mid-press). - iPad-on-Mac crash presenting Reader mode / Settings. - iPad background watchdog kill (empty-state layout loop). - Endless iCloud-export storm on refresh. - Articles rendering as raw HTML (WordPress post-embed iframes). - Unread count could show less than Today; it's now computed live. - Missing feed icons in the list: SVG favicons render like the sidebar, and rows with an orphaned feed relationship self-heal. - In-body YouTube embeds render as an inline player with cleaned-up text. - Transparent feed icons get a white rounded backing. - iPad Edit Feed sheet no longer see-through. - Image handling: podcast artwork downsampled off the main thread, article hero/lightbox image loading rebuilt, player-sheet scrubber measurement isolated. - Scrolling performance: main-thread work cut from the All Feeds and group timelines.

Bug fixes - - Fixed a visual glitch when unsubscribing to a feed in the main view. - Fixed an issue where the Headline Title wasn't updating on the iPhone. Update - - When in the unread view and a refresh is initiated, new refreshing animation. Optimization - - Version 2 bundle had grown a bit large. This update slims it back down. - Refactor the refresh animation so it's more performant, resilient.
