You set the chores. Your kids see what's theirs to do. They tick things off, earn points, and trade those points for rewards you've chosen yourself — screen time, a trip to the park, whatever works in your house. How it works Add your children to your household, each with their own profile. Assign chores — pick from a built-in list or write your own. Set which ones repeat, and when. Your kids open the app and see exactly what's expected of them today. When a job's done, they mark it complete. You can ask for a photo as proof for the ones that need it. Approve it, and the points land in their balance. You decide what those points are worth. Set up rewards at whatever price makes sense, and your kids can save up and redeem them when they're ready. Everything that happens in the app stays inside your family. Parents hold the controls. Subscription settings, household setup and account details all sit behind a parent PIN. Subscription HouseHeld costs $1 for your first week, then $7.99 per month or $39.99 per year. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel — in the app under Manage Subscription, or wherever you started it. The $1 first-week charge is non-refundable. Safer for families • Only a parent can change someone's role or delete a profile, and kids can only complete their own chores. • A parent's personal PIN can no longer be the same as the household's master PIN. • Deleting your account now cancels your HouseHeld subscription at the same time. Chores and rewards • Pausing and resuming chores and rewards works again. • Assign Chores saves your changes reliably. • You can create on-request chores without picking someone first. • Chores can't be marked done before the day they're due. • Scheduled rewards always ask for a date and time and go to a parent for approval. Allowance • Automatic allowance payouts now arrive on the scheduled day. • Allowance screens agree on the last and next payment dates. Everyday fixes • The PIN pad no longer gets stuck after a wrong PIN. • Your weekly progress updates as soon as you finish a chore. • Each person keeps their own colour on the leaderboard. • Clearer messages when a PIN can't be used or a reset code can't be sent. • Improved VoiceOver labels and a refreshed look across setup and settings.
