PageForth is an AI news reader for Mac, in the spirit of the old NewsFire. Most reading apps make you hunt down an RSS feed first. PageForth does not. Point it at any web page (a blog, a news site, a newsletter, an author's archive) and it works out which articles are on it. It fetches each one and shows it in a clean, quiet reader. No sidebars, no popups, no cookie banners. If a site offers an RSS feed you can use that too. The feed is optional, never required. An on-device AI model writes a short summary of every article, so you can tell what is worth your time before you commit. Every summary stays attached to its source, one click from the full piece. Nothing you read leaves your Mac. WHAT YOU CAN DO Read any site. If a page links to articles, PageForth turns it into a feed. No RSS needed, though feeds work if you have them. Skim with summaries. Each article gets a short, on-device summary up top, with the source one click away. Cut the clutter. Every article is stripped to just the writing, with text size and spacing you control.
