Built for the whole family, Pedal Quest turns every ride into a little adventure. It helps every rider track where they went, who they rode with, what they saw, how far they travelled and the memories they made along the way. It is not a serious fitness app. There are no leaderboards, no public profiles and no pressure to perform. Pedal Quest celebrates effort, confidence, curiosity and family time on two wheels. Made for family rides Whether the rider has their own iPhone, borrows someone else's, or tucks an iPad safely in a backpack, Pedal Quest is designed to make every ride feel like theirs. Start a ride, lock the screen, and let the adventure unfold. When the ride is finished, you can save it as a friendly diary entry, add companions, remember funny moments, record muddy bits, and build up your own Hall of Fame. What every rider can do • Start a ride with one tap • See your route appear on Apple Maps • Track distance, time and top speed • Take photos during the ride • Save each ride with a diary-style memory • Add up to five companions • Earn warm, encouraging badges • Create your own badge ideas for a grown-up to award • Personalise the app with fun themes including Sky, Sunset, Forest, Underwater, Dinosaur, Space and Racing Track • See playful weather messages such as "watch out for puddles" or "bring your water bottle" • Visit your Hall of Fame to look back at every adventure What grown-ups will appreciate Pedal Quest has been built with privacy, safety and simplicity at its core. • No accounts • No adverts • No social feeds • No public leaderboards • No analytics SDKs • No third-party tracking • Ride data stays on your device and syncs privately through your own iCloud when signed in • Optional grown-up PIN with Face ID or Touch ID support • Hold-to-confirm controls help prevent accidental deletes • Photos can stay inside Pedal Quest, be saved manually, or auto-save to Photos • Local profanity filtering helps block rude words on-device • Weather can be turned off entirely • A live Permissions hub shows exactly what the app can access • Works offline, with iCloud sync catching up when available • British English throughout Ride-buddy pairing For families with two devices, Pedal Quest includes optional ride-buddy pairing over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It is off by default, encrypted, and does not use the internet. Two riders can see each other's ride trail live when cycling side by side. Sharing a phone? No problem. Not everyone has their own iPhone, so Pedal Quest works around real family life. Use a family member's iPhone in a backpack, ride alongside with your own device, or use an iPad if that's what you have to hand. The point is the ride, the memory and the confidence it creates — not whose device recorded it. Privacy first Pedal Quest does not collect, transmit or store your data on our servers. We do not have any servers for your ride data. Rides are saved on your device and can sync privately through your own iCloud. Location is used while recording a ride and, if weather is enabled, briefly to fetch the local forecast. You can turn weather off in the grown-up area. There are no adverts, no analytics, no third-party tracking and no social sharing built in. A warm adventure log, not a fitness app Pedal Quest is for families who care more about memories than metrics. It is for first rides, muddy shortcuts, sunny park loops, family cycle paths, little achievements and big smiles. Every ride becomes part of a private adventure diary your family can look back on with pride.
