Nightcap is a menu bar utility that keeps your computer awake only while selected apps are running.
Choose Codex, Ghostty, a shell app, or any app with long-running work. Nightcap starts a system power assertion when one of those apps is active, then releases it when the apps quit so your computer can sleep normally again.
Use it for AI coding agents, builds, exports, uploads, command-line sessions, and other background tasks where you want the computer to stay available without leaving sleep disabled all day.
