CodClimb gives rock climbers a live 0–100 climbability score for hundreds of curated US crags — powered by real weather data, not guesswork. And the map keeps growing: climbers suggest new spots, and verified areas get added for everyone. New: one tap turns the whole app into CodClimb Snow, with snow scores for 230+ ski resorts worldwide. WHY CLIMBERS USE IT Every score is built from five factors that actually matter: temperature, rock dryness (hours since the last rain), humidity, wind speed, and cloud cover. Tap any crag for the full breakdown, an hour-by-hour forecast, and a 7-day outlook so you can plan the whole weekend. COMPARE CRAGS ACROSS THE WEEK Deciding where to go? Compare up to three crags day by day in a color-coded grid, tap any day for the details, and use the hourly overlay to flip between score, temperature, rain, wind, cloud, and humidity — so you can pinpoint the exact window to send. LOOK UP — AND PLAN — ANY SPOT Not every crag is in CodClimb, so check the live forecast for ANY location: long-press the map, use the center crosshair, or type a latitude/longitude. Save spots as "My points" with the same hour-by-hour meteogram and an 8–14 day long-range outlook, compare them right alongside real crags, or arm one for a date and a purpose — hiking, skiing, surfing, a photo shoot — to get a pre-trip briefing and a rain heads-up. (Saved points are weather-only — no climb score.) MAKE THE MAP YOURS Choose what the map shows with the Layers menu, filter crags by discipline (sport, trad, boulder, ice), and search by name or area to fly straight to a crag. Climbed a spot that deserves a crag? Suggest it — if it's added, you're credited by name on the crag page. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Wall dryness and a drying countdown after rain Exposed-vs-overhang and sun & shade timing Rain warnings and a short-range nowcast An hourly meteogram that tells rain from snow at a glance More conditions at a glance: dew point, air quality, UV, visibility, and pressure trend PLAN & GET ALERTED Set a score alert for your favorite crags, or arm a trip to get a day-before briefing and a short-range rain heads-up before you make the drive. A REAL CLIMBING COMMUNITY See live condition reports from other climbers — rock feel, seepage, crowds, photos, and beta — and post your own after every session. Sort the feed by most liked or most discussed, share any report as a clean, branded card to Instagram or Stories, and get notified when someone comments on yours. Build a climber profile with your home area, the spots you've climbed, achievement badges, and links to your Instagram and TikTok so climbers can connect. TUNE IT TO YOU Adjust how much each factor counts and set your ideal temperature range, so the score reflects how you climb. NEW: CODCLIMB SNOW Tap the skier in the top-left switch and every tab turns to snow. Each ski resort gets a live 0–100 snow score from fresh snow, temperature, wind, and visibility, multiplied by the snowpack — so a bare mountain can't score well just because it's sunny. A 7-day ski score with the best day called out, plus today's best window hour by hour Snow line, snow quality, and snow at summit, mid, and base Snow charts: last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, season totals, and ten seasons of history Compare 2–8 resorts side by side, and filter by region or season pass Rider profiles: All-mountain, Powder, Cruiser, Park & pipe, or Alpine Powder alerts when your amount of new snow is forecast Conditions change fast and forecasts aren't perfect — CodClimb helps you plan, but always judge the rock in person before you climb. CodClimb Snow is modeled from weather data: it isn't a resort's snow report or avalanche guidance, so check the resort and your local avalanche center before you ski. Weather data by Open-Meteo.
