Moody Church Connect is the app of The Moody Church in Chicago — for anyone who calls it home, and for anyone who is just curious about us. It puts the week ahead, your groups, and your prayer list in one place, so staying connected doesn't depend on catching someone in the lobby on Sunday.
Anyone can download the app and create an account in it — no invitation needed, and you don't have to be a member. If you're new, start with the calendar and find something to come to.
HOME
Open the app and see what matters this week: news from the church, what's new in your groups, the events you're signed up for, and this Sunday's bulletin. Follow along with the sermon using the outline, and keep private notes right beside it — they're yours alone, and you can email them to yourself when you want to keep them.
MY GROUPS
Every group you belong to, in one list. Step inside a group for its announcements, its conversation, and its next meeting time and room. Chat arrives in real time, with replies, reactions, and photos. Looking for a community? Browse the groups open to new members and ask to join — your leader gets the request and can welcome you in.
Leaders get their own tools: the full group roster with contact details, attendance for each meeting, group email, and join requests to approve.
PRAYER
Share a request with one group or several at once, and choose who sees it — the whole group, or just the leaders. When someone prays for you, you'll know, and they can add a word of encouragement. Keep a record of who and what you've prayed for. When God answers, mark the request answered and everyone who prayed hears about it.
CALENDAR
Everything happening at Moody, laid out by date with the details that matter: time, room, and description. Register for many church events right in the app.
GIVE
Give to the ministries of The Moody Church in a few taps, through the church's online giving partner. You arrive already recognized, so your giving history and saved payment methods are waiting for you.
SAFE BY DESIGN
Conversations and prayer requests stay inside the group they were shared with — nothing you post goes out to strangers, and there's no public feed to scroll. Accounts carry real names, so you always know who you're talking to. Anything a member posts can be reported to that group's leaders, leaders can remove it, and you can block another member at any time. There are no ads, no advertising trackers, and nothing about you is sold or shared for advertising.
Creating an account takes a minute: your name, your email and your phone number, and a code to confirm it's you. The app is free, and it always will be — no subscription, nothing to buy. The app is intended for adults.
