Walk, and your own town quietly takes shape.
Arukeys is a location-based game where walking and town-building come together. It is not a pedometer or a plain activity tracker. You walk through the real world, bring the world home, and grow a town that is entirely your own. What it offers is a quiet sense of ownership and a small, gentle feeling of accomplishment — the real places you walk remain as a landscape you can love.
What you can experience
- Your walking route turns into "land" you can harvest
- Different terrain — grassland, water, forest — yields different resources
- Use the resources you gather to slowly grow a hand-drawn, storybook-like town
- The more you walk, the richer your town becomes, and the more you want to walk again
How to play
1. Take a walk
Just turn on GPS and start walking. Your route is recorded on the map automatically. Start with a single tap; you can keep your phone in your pocket.
2. Enclose an area
Return to your starting point and close the loop, and the enclosed space becomes a "harvest area."
3. Harvest resources
You receive resources based on the terrain of the area — wood and seeds in a park, water and fish by the waterside, mushrooms in a forest, sacred trees and stone lanterns at a shrine. The character of the place you walked becomes its harvest.
4. Build your town
Use the resources you gather to build houses, fields, forests, ponds, windmills, flower beds and more, and grow a town that is yours alone. Your town stays and keeps growing.

Mid-tone pastels, warm wood tones, and natural greens. A quiet, lovable townscape drawn with soft outlines, like an illustrated storybook. There are no flashy effects, no frantic tapping, and no battles. This is an app for slowly nurturing your own landscape while you take a stroll.

About location use
This app uses your location to record your current position and walking route during a walk, and to harvest resources from the areas you enclose. It also uses location in the background so your route is less likely to break while the screen is locked or while you briefly leave the app. Location is never used for advertising or tracking.
Offline and data sync
You can enjoy walking and harvesting even without a network connection. Sign in with Apple, Google, or email, and you can continue with the same town after switching devices.
