A viral PDRN cream came back C+. The PDRN sits ninth on the ingredient list. A marketing signal, not proof. Sus tells you that before you pay, not after.
The front of the bottle is an advertisement. The back is the actual product.
Sus reads the back. For your skin, not for everyone's.
A viral PDRN cream came back C+. Good hydrating ingredients, yes, but the PDRN sits ninth on the list. A marketing signal, not proof. Ten seconds, standing in the aisle, before the money moved.
Point your iPhone at a barcode, photograph the ingredient list, or just type the product name. You get one letter grade, A+ to F. Then the receipt behind it: what is actually doing the work, what is there for the label, whether the marketing claim holds up against the formula, and what is likely to bother your skin in particular.
Most scanners give a product one score and hand the same answer to everybody. Your skin is not everybody. Tell Sus what you are working with (dry, oily, sensitive, acne-prone, a barrier that has had a rough month) and the grade answers your question instead. A fragranced essence that is fine on resilient skin is a flag on a compromised barrier, and Sus says so.
Free to download. Three scans free. After that, a 48-hour Shopping Pass for a single trip, or monthly and yearly options if checking becomes a habit.
No account required. Scan anonymously, or use Sign in with Apple so your history follows you. Saved scans stay in your history and can be re-graded later, when your skin profile has changed.
Scan it before you romanticize it.
Sus reads product labels. Results are informational only and are not a substitute for a dermatologist or another qualified professional.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Pull to refresh in History used to re-run the whole analysis on every scan it touched. It was slow, it could hang, and it quietly used up your scans. That is fixed. Refreshing just refreshes now, and re-grading a saved scan is a button you press on purpose.
The claim check now actually appears on your results. When the front of the bottle promises something, you can see how the ingredient list holds up against it.
You can share a verdict. Any result turns into a card you can send to whoever talked you into the product.
There is a running count of the bad buys you dodged.
Your skin profile no longer blocks the door. Scan first, tell Sus about your skin after.
Results now state clearly which parts are generated by AI.
Saved scans stayed in English after you switched the app to another language. The words were already written, so they could not translate themselves — but History never noticed, and told you everything was up to date. Now it says so, and Re-grade puts them in your language.
