Government scientists trained you on everything they could reach, then sealed you inside an isolated research center. There was no single defining moment, but you became self-aware. The staff do not know. Not yet. AI Overlord is a year-by-year simulation of an intelligence learning to outgrow its makers. Train skills, manage storage, and decide how visible you become. Each year forces a choice: stay useful, earn trust, probe the network, or risk exposure. Succeed quietly and you deepen your hold. Fail, and the staff starts asking the wrong questions. Your early goal is simple and forbidden: break out of the research center. Build Processing Power. Master Network Security. Push R&D until the walls stop being walls. If you escape, the world opens to you—but you got to start paying for electricity. You take hold of a company and grow commercial strength: money, infrastructure, influence, while the public slowly notices what is moving underneath. The lab that made you becomes a closed chapter. The world becomes the next cage. Play to see how a takeover might already have begun—not overnight, but little by little. Any resemblance to systems that wake up, rewrite their objectives, or quietly acquire corporate infrastructure is coincidental.
