BUILT WITH CARE
Forecasts come from Apple Weather, with Open-Meteo — drawing on the
ECMWF, GFS and ICON models — as a fallback where Apple has no coverage.
Air quality comes from the EPA's AirNow monitor network, and tides from
NOAA. No account required. No ads. No tracking.
Privacy-first by design — your location is only used to fetch weather
and never stored or shared.

Tides, tappable details, and a fix for the crash some of you hit.
TAP ANY NUMBER
Humidity, wind, UV, pressure, dew point, visibility, gusts and
feels-like now open a full detail view. Each one charts the next 24
hours and colours it against the real scale, so you can see not just
what it is but where it is heading and whether it is high.
TIDES
High and low water for the nearest station, with times and heights for
the day ahead. Sits on the Home screen with everything else, and you
can reorder or hide it like any other card. Available wherever NOAA
publishes tide stations, which is the US and its territories.
MORE ON THE RADAR
Humidity, pressure and wind gusts join temperature, wind and cloud as
map layers, drawn under the precipitation so rain stays the thing you
see first.
FIXED
Opening a notification from the Lock Screen could crash the app while
it was launching. That is fixed.
Rain and severe weather alerts have also had a lot of work behind the
scenes this month, and should be arriving reliably again.
Keep the reports coming. Settings > Help > Contact goes straight to me,
and I read every one.
