Passports also get a six-month buffer because most destinations require six months of validity past your entry date - so a passport is flagged months ahead, not the week it expires. Renewal queue with traffic-light status The Today tab ranks your open documents by how soon you must act - Expired, Act now, Plan now, On track - each with its own color, so a real deadline never slips past you.
