CloudChute helps protect the files on your Mac by keeping a backup copy in Google Drive, Dropbox, or Box. If you delete something by mistake, change a file and want the old version back, or a file becomes corrupted, CloudChute helps you recover it. Set it up once: choose the folders you want to protect, then back up manually or use a schedule. You can run backups hourly, daily, weekly, or at custom intervals. Backups run quietly in the background while you work. CloudChute also gives you optional encryption before upload. Files are encrypted on your Mac with AES-256 before they leave it, and only you hold the keys. If you prefer, you can leave encryption off. When you need to restore a file, browse your backup and recover the version you want. A simple example: you delete a project folder to free up space on your Mac. CloudChute keeps a backup copy safe so you can get it back later. CloudChute is built natively for Mac. It is lightweight, fast, and designed for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Works with the cloud storage you already use: Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. CloudChute helps protect the files you already store there. Use it with Time Machine if you want: Time Machine protects your local Mac drive. CloudChute protects your files off-site in your cloud account. CloudChute is built for backup, not syncing. Sync tools keep your files matched across devices, so a deletion on your Mac can also remove the cloud copy. CloudChute keeps a backup copy instead, so you can recover it later.
