Nagara for YouTube
Floating video, always on top
Only for Mac
Free · In‑App Purchases
Mac
A native macOS app for watching videos while you work.
Even when another app is full screen, you can keep watching in an independent window.
SUPPORTED SERVICES
- YouTube
- Prime Video
Switch services from the menu. There is always exactly one player window, so switching pauses the previous service automatically.
FEATURES
Window controls
- Always on top
- Show on all Spaces (follows you onto other apps' full-screen Spaces)
- Adjustable opacity for overlaying your work
- Zoom control
Video-only view
Hide the surrounding interface and fill the window with the video when you want to focus.
Global hotkeys
- Toggle always-on-top, play/pause and panic-hide from the keyboard
- Active anywhere while the app is running
History and bookmarks
Watch history and bookmarks are kept per service and can be browsed inside each player window.
Cross-search
Search the titles of videos you watched before, so "where was that video again?" takes seconds.
PRIVACY
- Watch history and bookmarks are stored locally on your Mac and never sent anywhere
- Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports are sent to improve the app. Only feature usage and error categories are included — never your watch history or bookmarks
PRICING
- One-time purchase (free trial included)
- Pay once, use forever. No subscriptions.
REQUIREMENTS
macOS 15.0 or later
------------------
This app provides a window for viewing video services. Watching each service requires your own account and an active subscription where applicable.
