DockStacks gives your Mac a smarter dock. Organize your apps, folders, files and weblinks into stacks, launch what you need instantly, and keep your workspace clean.
STACKS
Group apps, folders, files and weblinks by project, client, workflow, or anything that makes sense to you. Switch between stacks with a click, swipe, or scroll. Select multiple items at once — drag a selection box or ⌘-click — then move them to another stack in one step, or drag them straight onto a stack tab. Rename, reorder, and color-code each stack to make it yours.
FLOATING PANEL
A clean panel that lives above your dock and stays out of your way until you need it. Drag it anywhere on screen — position is saved between sessions.
MENU BAR
Prefer a lighter footprint? Show DockStacks in the menu bar instead of, or alongside, the Dock — one click opens your stacks, right-click for Settings, Help, or Quit. Hide the Dock icon entirely for an even more minimal setup.
ALWAYS ON TOP
Pin DockStacks to keep it visible over every app. Perfect for power users who want their launcher always within reach.
AUTO-HIDE
Prefer a cleaner desktop? Set DockStacks to hide whenever another app is focused, or automatically when you launch an app from a stack.

APPEARANCE
Dial in the look with transparency and background color controls, and hide item labels for a more compact, icon-only view. Subtle or bold, it fits your setup.

Password-protect individual stacks to keep sensitive apps, folders, files and weblinks out of sight. Auto-lock when your screen locks or after a period of inactivity.

Independent grid sizing — set columns (4 or 5) and rows (2, 3, or 4) separately for each stack, including new 4×4 and 5×4 options
Auto Size — instantly shrink or grow a stack's grid to fit its current items
Smarter capacity warnings — when a stack is full, choose "Increase Grid Size" to grow it and automatically finish the drop or move
Delete confirmation — deleting a stack now asks for confirmation first, to prevent accidental loss
Fixed an issue where two menu bar icons could appear after logging out and back in
