Keep working on your Mac from your iPad, iPhone, or another Mac. View your Mac display, click, drag, scroll, type, and use keyboard shortcuts with porta.
Install the paid porta app on the device you connect from. You must also download and install the free porta host separately on the Mac you want to control. Start on the same local network. On the host Mac, allow Screen Recording and Accessibility, then pair using the displayed six-digit code.
Use porta only with Macs you own or administer. The host must be running in a signed-in user session; login-screen and FileVault pre-boot control are not supported. Screen content is not stored or uploaded to a developer-operated service. Access from outside your local network requires an appropriate network setup.
