Pro Annual ($19.99/year, 7-day free trial) is an auto-renewing subscription. Pro Lifetime ($39.99) is a one-time non-consumable purchase. The annual subscription auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID Subscriptions settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
