This is FlipStart’s biggest beta update yet. FlipStart now has a full account and profile system, including email login, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, guest mode, username setup, profile editing, and cloud-backed progress syncing. Your scans, Hunt Mode progress, XP, achievements, Brand Compendium discoveries, Diamonds in the Rough, and saved app progress are now built around a real profile system instead of being tied only to local device data. Progress has been completely upgraded. You can now unlock achievements, build your Brand Compendium, discover rare Diamonds in the Rough, track your XP, and watch your FlipStart journey grow over time. The Progress tab now includes notification badges, unlock popups, celebration moments, and better tracking for newly discovered items. Brand Compendium is now live. Save scanned finds to discover brands, fill out your archive, unlock common, uncommon, rare, and legendary brands, and view brand pages as your collection grows. Diamonds in the Rough is now live. FlipStart can recognize special thrift finds, vintage grails, rare categories, and collectible pieces, then add them to your Diamond collection with custom artwork and discovery tracking. Hunt Mode has been improved and now connects more cleanly with your profile, saved finds, scan history, progress, and overall FlipStart journey. Scan history and saved finds are now more reliable, with better sync behavior, safer deletion warnings, improved progress recalculation, and cleaner handling when scans are deleted or accounts are switched. Account support has been improved across the app, including better onboarding, better login/signup flow, better guest mode handling, improved Settings options, and a clearer account deletion request flow. FlipStart now also includes a better app rating flow, updated privacy handling, improved analytics for beta testing, better feature tracking, and many behind-the-scenes improvements to help make the app more stable, accurate, and useful.
