qlmd renders Markdown beautifully in Quick Look. Select a Markdown file in the Finder, press the space bar, and read it as a formatted document instead of raw text.

BUILT-IN VIEWER
Open a Markdown file in the app — or drag one onto its window — to read it full size, with exactly the same rendering as the Quick Look preview. From there you can export the document as a PDF or as a self-contained HTML file, with the diagrams and highlighted code intact.
MADE TO YOUR TASTE
Pick a code color theme (Default, Monokai, GitHub, GitHub Dark, One Dark, or Nord), set the text size that suits your display, and switch Mermaid diagrams and front matter display on or off. Changes apply to your next preview — no restart, no setup.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
qlmd runs entirely on your Mac. Your documents are never uploaded, no data is collected, and no account is required. Rendering happens locally inside the App Sandbox, and the preview is blocked from making any network connection.

The generated table of contents has been removed: in a preview panel it pushed the document itself below the fold to list headings that were already on screen.
