KNOW WHAT NEEDS ATTENTION
Today puts scheduled doses first. See what is due now, what is coming later, and what has already been recorded. Mark a dose as taken, skip it for the day, or ask for another reminder.
ADD MEDICATIONS WITH LESS TYPING
Enter a medication manually or photograph a pharmacy label. The optional scan feature creates a draft containing the medication name, dose, quantity, and schedule. You review the required details before anything is saved because automated extraction can make mistakes.
PLAN REAL-WORLD PILLBOXES
Create weekly, monthly, or custom pillbox layouts that match the organizer on your counter. Record when a box was sorted and when it is expected to run out.
COORDINATE WITH PEOPLE YOU TRUST
Create a private group and invite the people involved in medication care. Assign each medication to a person, see who recorded an action, and review proposed medication changes before they are accepted.
REMINDERS THAT FIT YOUR ROUTINE
Choose times for meal-related dose reminders, enable an optional morning summary, and receive upcoming pillbox or prescription reminders. Notification delivery depends on your iPhone settings.
ENGLISH AND TRADITIONAL CHINESE
Switch the interface between English and Traditional Chinese at any time.
PRIVACY
The app does not contain advertising or third-party analytics. Shared group information is stored in Google Firebase. Pharmacy-label photos are sent to Google's Gemini API only when you choose the scan feature and provide your own Google AI Studio API key. Your API key remains in this app's local storage on your device.
IMPORTANT
Uncle's Pills is an organization and record-keeping tool. It does not diagnose conditions, calculate doses, verify prescriptions, or provide medical advice. Automated text extraction may be incorrect. Confirm medication details against the pharmacy label and follow instructions from your clinician or pharmacist. Do not use the app as the only record for urgent or life-critical medication decisions.
