The fourth tab is now called "Groups", and it gains two tools at once: sharing tasks and deciding together. Both work the way a group for splitting expenses does, so there is nothing second to learn. SHARING TASKS • Put in what has to be done and how often, and Count says whose turn it is next • Not only the cleaning. The shopping, the tidying, the bins, who deals with an appointment: anything that goes round fits in it • The order is not fixed in advance. It follows from who went last, so when somebody stands in for somebody else, everything moves along by itself • Whoever was away comes up a few times in a row afterwards. That works itself out too • For each task you set who takes part, and whether the order follows from the turns taken or is fixed • The group opens with what is on you, with a wide button to record it. What is on everybody else is below it, by name and face DECIDING TOGETHER • Ask the group a question, give it the options, and Count counts the votes • You set whether everybody picks exactly one option, as many as they like, or at most a certain number • While a poll runs, you see the count only once you have voted yourself. That way nobody else's vote pulls you in a direction • A poll can be secret. The group then sees who has voted, but not what for • A poll ends when somebody ends it, never on its own. After that everybody sees the result • Every option has its own colour. The question, the options and the colours can all be put right later • When you write a poll you decide whether a vote already cast may still be changed. If it may, you tap another option, or the one you hold to take your vote back • A poll that has been ended can be opened again, and no vote is lost EVERY GROUP WORKS THE SAME WAY • You are on the list from the start, under your own name • You type the others in, or you hold up your code and they arrive with phones of their own. Either order, in any mixture • Whoever knocks appears straight away, with their photo, and you say yes or no while they are still standing next to you • Behind the gear at the top right is everything else: the name, the people, the code, and for each person separately what they may do • When somebody else records something, your device tells you, and a tap opens that group • A group something has happened in is on the home screen under “Recently used” IMPORTING WITHOUT A NEW FOLDER • An import can go into a folder you already have. Counters with the same name carry on, and only the new values are added • When the names do not line up, you pair them yourself. A table shows which imported counter meets which counter here THE LAST FEW READINGS INSTEAD OF A WEEK OR A MONTH • A counter's figures can now be read over its last few readings. You set how many yourself with plus and minus • Whatever you pick stays on the counter until you change it again Enjoy Count!

Two changes, both about splitting expenses: a group now comes to you instead of waiting for you to go and look. ON THE HOME SCREEN • Groups you split expenses in now stand under "recently used" as well, right beside your counters • Where a group sits is decided by its newest expense. Whatever happened last night is at the top in the morning • Somebody who keeps no counters at all and only splits expenses finally has a home screen too WHEN SOMEBODY ELSE RECORDS SOMETHING • When somebody records an expense in a group or changes one, your device tells you • The message names the group, the person, the amount and what it was for • A tap on it opens that group, whatever was on screen before • On an evening with a lot of spending Count speaks once and then summarises, rather than announcing every single expense Enjoy Count!

Four versions in one, and two large things in them: the group that splits its expenses can finally say who owes whom, and a counter with thousands of readings is as easy to read as one with ten. EVERYBODY WITH THEIR OWN STANDING • The settlement carries one pill per person. Tap a name for the whole page: who they owe and who owes them, by name in both directions • Every single figure opens. Under it are the expenses it came from • Somebody who may only read a group sees their own standing there and nobody else's • The expense list filters by kind of spending, offering only what the group has actually spent on TWO ENTRIES BECOME ONE • A group is typed in on the first evening, and people often arrive with a phone of their own later. Whoever scanned the code then stood in the group twice, once with the money and once with the phone • Now you merge the expenses, from either side: on the person with the device, whose expenses they can take over; on the typed name, who takes it over. Which is often you • Whether the old entry goes with it is a switch. Whoever takes the expenses over is told on their own phone • Games work the same way, and every round comes along THE CHART WITH THOUSANDS OF READINGS • Count groups them by hour, day, week or month, and says which it is above the full-screen chart • Two fingers pull it apart, right down to every single reading • A counter kept for years lets you pick single years, for the chart, the list and the calendar • A counter with a goal shows at a glance how far there is left to go MONEY DOES WHAT YOU TYPE • A share you set by hand on an expense now stays put in a shared group as well • On the number pad the first digit replaces the figure already there. It used to land behind it, so anybody changing 600 to 300 got 600 back on saving • Every counter decides which control its entry sheet opens on, the stepper or the pad ALSO • A group you have just made no longer holds its code up by itself • Whoever is waiting to be let in sees whose group it is, by name and face • Somebody who does not own a shared group is offered "leave group" rather than "delete group" • Importing and exporting your data is part of Pro Enjoy Count!

Ever been away with four other people and spent the evening working out who owes whom what? Count now has a place of its own for exactly that: NEW: TOOLS • The bar at the bottom now ends with Tools, where the tools gather for everything you want to keep track of that fits neither the counters nor the games • Neither a counter nor a game, but a kind of tool of its own SPLITTING EXPENSES • Record who paid for what and who it was for, all in whole cents • Every expense shows the amount per person, split evenly to begin with. Change one and the others move with it in proportion • Count works out where everybody stands and which payments settle it at the end • The purpose, the kind of expense and the date come along, so you still know three days later what it was • Anybody who was not there is simply unticked on that expense • Every group counts in its own currency, the same for everybody, whatever country each phone is in • Splitting is part of Pro TOGETHER, FROM SEVERAL PHONES • A group is shared the moment you make it, the way a game is • Type the people in on your own device, or hold the QR code out, whichever suits • Whoever scans the code knocks at your door, with their profile picture in front of you • Take them in as somebody new, or point them at one of the people you have already typed in • Somebody you let in reads along at first. What they may record is your next decision: their own expenses, or all of them • Somebody who is helping you may also help run the group GAMES • A game can be renamed now, in its settings under General ALSO • On shared counters you now see everybody's short comments, not only your own • On a counter with several values, the top again shows the most recent value of each part • If you are let into a group or a game that is still being set up, Count tells you as soon as it starts Enjoy Count!

Version 2.2 opens the door for everything you have already counted somewhere else: DATA FROM ANOTHER APP • Bring your data over from another counter app, whatever its export looks like • Pick the file straight inside Count, or upload it at count.softwarea.de and type in the code • Count reads how the file is built and shows you beforehand which counters and how many values came out of it • Everything it finds lands in a new folder, your existing counters stay untouched • The uploaded file is deleted as soon as it has been converted, and after 48 hours at the latest REMINDERS THAT PAY ATTENTION • A value you have already recorded answers that day's reminder • It does not ask a second time, and the next appointment in the series stays where it is INVITING WITH THE CAMERA • Scanning your invite code with the ordinary phone camera opens Count straight on the invitation • If the app is not installed yet, the code leads to the store Enjoy Count!

Version 2.1 gives the single entry more room. It may carry a text, and it need not be complete: A WORD WITH THE ENTRY • Every entry can carry a short text, once you switch it on for the counter • The text then shows in the counter's lists, in the history and in the Excel export • Counters that have no use for it see nothing of it NOT EVERY FIELD HAS TO BE FILLED • A counter with several values lets you leave a field empty • An empty field stays empty and is not counted as a zero, so it skews neither the chart nor the best value • You can fill it in later whenever you like Enjoy Count!

Version 2.0.2 brings a dark mode and more control over how a counter takes entries: DARK MODE • Count now has a dark mode and follows your device's setting WHEN YOU RECORD • You can set how many entries a counter takes per day. When the day is full, the app says so. • Counters where the time of day does not matter now ask only for the date • The Dial carries from one digit into the next again and no longer drops the decimal. Short durations can be set with it again too. SUPPORT AND POLISH • You now write to support inside the app and read the answer in the same place • Every panel that slides up scrolls, so nothing gets cut off on a small screen • Android no longer asks for your Google account at startup if you never switched on the backup to Google Drive Enjoy Count!

Count 2.0 is here! Counting was just the beginning. You can now keep track of games, rounds, and points, and play together with others. Everyone uses their own device, while everyone stays up to date with the current score. Plus, there’s a completely new look and feel and lots of improvements under the hood.

Version 1.9 brings a calendar to every counter — and an overview across whole folders: A CALENDAR IN EVERY COUNTER • Switch between list and calendar on any counter • Every day with an entry is highlighted; tap a day to see its entries and jump straight in to edit • The day of your best value stands out in the counter's colour FOLDER CALENDAR • A calendar for a whole folder shows at a glance which days at least one of the folder's counters has an entry — from the first entry to the last Plus polish and bug fixes. Version 1.8 brings units for your counters — and a chart that shows several quantities side by side: UNITS & DIMENSIONS • Add a unit to number, decimal and tally values (kg, km, reps …) — even per value on counters with several values • A manageable unit list in Settings: toggle common suggestions on or off, add your own • The unit now appears everywhere the value is shown MULTI-SCALE CHART • Counters with several values: same units share a scale, different units get their own (labelled left/right) • Show or hide individual values from the legend • Tap a point to see the exact values at that moment Plus polish for messages and the support reply, and bug fixes. Version 1.7 adds a fast new way to count, a home-screen widget you can actually tap, and statistics for every counter: NEW "COUNTER" TYPE • A quick tap counter: tap + to count up (and − to fix a slip), with a running total • Pick a reset rhythm — daily, weekly, monthly, or never — and your own step size INTERACTIVE HOME-SCREEN WIDGET • Count straight from the widget — tap + or − without opening the app • Scope a widget to a single folder, so you can add one per area of your life STATISTICS PER COUNTER • See totals, averages, highest and lowest, and more — for the time period you choose • Turn statistics on or off per counter, with sensible defaults for each type CLEARER BACK UP & RESTORE • Backups, restores and device transfers now show a step-by-step checklist with progress, so you always know what's happening and how far along it is Plus fuller translations, notifications for support replies, and many smaller improvements and fixes. IMPROVED • Day-based date counters: if a midnight falls between now and the target date, it now correctly counts as one day (also applies to past dates). Plus smaller improvements and bug fixes.
