Fire FC 3.0: A Real Refresh This is a big update with improvements across the entire app. The Wall, Chat, Dashboard, Player profiles, streaks, polls, reactions, media, and navigation have all been refreshed to make Fire FC smoother, cleaner, and easier to use. THE WALL • The Wall is now a true team feed with post categories like News, Results, Spotlight, and Practice. • You can filter posts, view cleaner postcards, see edge-to-edge images, react with any emoji, and tap “Who reacted” to see who used each reaction. • Comments now preview directly under posts, so it is easier to catch up without opening every post. • Coaches can now add polls to Wall posts with two to six options and see who voted for each option • Player streak milestones are now celebrated on the Wall when a player reaches 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100 days on their development plan. CHAT • Photos now load faster and scroll more smoothly in long threads. • Photos with captions now appear together in one message bubble. • Group chats now show a simple “sent” status instead of noisy read counts. Direct messages still show when a message has been read. • The emoji reaction picker is larger and easier to use. • Long pressing any message now lets you react with any emoji. • Sending a long message no longer jumps the thread back to the top. DASHBOARD • The home dashboard now features a stadium scene that changes with the time of day, including morning, midday, golden hour, and night under the floodlights. • Six large tiles give quick access to Wall, Events, Media, Chat, Roster, and Plan. • Tiles can show live badges when something new is available. • Your player profile card is now front and center, with streaks easier to see. • Player of the Match winners now get a gold profile card for the week. FIXES AND POLISH • The “Done today” button is more reliable. • Player streak counts now stay in sync throughout the app. • Wall share links now keep formatting like bold text, bullets, and links. • Survey links opened inside the app now include a “Back to Fire FC” bar. • Player of the Match has a cleaner, more celebratory design. • The Players tab has been simplified and cleaned up. • The Wall drawer now opens edge-to-edge and shows recent posts more clearly. • Most screens now use a more consistent layout with navy navigation and a clean reading area. • Fire FC 3.0 should feel faster, more organized, and more fun for players, parents, and coaches.

The Team wall has been updated! Long announcements with bold headings, lists, links, photos, and comments don't leak into chat. New drafts, inline images, and auto-posts for POTM wins, dev plans, and juggle records. Profile got a dark refresh; Practice Effort tracks streak days with Sundays free. The Wall, redone. Coach announcements live on their own surface now — bold, headings, bullets, numbered lists, blockquotes, dividers, and inline photos. Long posts stay polished and don't get garbled in chat. Edit-as-you-go drafts autosave so a half-written post survives a tab close. Comments and likes. Parents can react and reply right under the post. Milestone auto-posts. Photos in chat Renamed "Team Chat" to Messages since not all threads are team-wide anymore (DMs, coach-only, club-wide). Stricter media access By default, only coaches, team managers, and club admins can upload clips, edit tags, set thumbnails, or pick photos. Coaches can grant a specific parent media access from Team Management (e.g. the parent running the tracking camera). Per-team — granting on one team doesn't carry to another. Seasons Make a new season any time — no need to "end" the old one first. New Manage Seasons screen to rename, switch active, or delete one created on the wrong team. Club admins can bulk-apply a new season to every team in the club in one go. The End Season button only shows up when there's actually an active season on this team — no more confusing dead buttons. Brand-new icon set Fresh icons everywhere — Home, Events, Media, Chat, Settings, you name it.
