Carson answers more. Ask what a repair should cost where you live, whether a quote is fair, which oil to use, or when you last changed it — Carson now knows your service history, what's due and your fuel numbers. When one detail would change the answer, it asks once and gives you options to tap. It can also log a fill-up or add a custom task for you, and open your costs, glovebox or fuel screen when you ask. Premium costs less: $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year, and the monthly Carson allowance is now 500 messages. Lite Lifetime owners get their own Premium price. Premium Lifetime is no longer sold; if you bought it, nothing changes for you. Also: a character counter in the Carson composer, clearer messages when a limit is reached, and the AI usage panel shows the new allowances. Carson now answers as it writes, so the first words appear in a couple of seconds. Long-press any reply to copy it or ask again. Before pricing a repair, Carson asks which city you are in, and it uses the units you write ("11 gallons" on a liters setting asks whether to keep or convert).

Every model year from 1990 to 2027, for 205 makes. If you couldn't find your car before, look again: the catalogue has more than doubled, and the GM trucks now go by their real names, Silverado 1500, 2500HD, 3500HD and their Sierra twins. Type it, and we'll still find it. Enter a car by hand and, if we hold its schedule, it's linked automatically, engine choice included. A slip in the make's spelling or the model's spacing is forgiven. A say in the gaps. When a manufacturer's schedule covers some of your tasks but not all, you choose what happens to the rest: our estimates, your own numbers, or leave them unset until you're ready. Anything left unset shows as "Interval not set" on the car page. Tap it to fill it in. Your engine, on the car page. The engine you chose now sits under the car's name, so you always know which schedule you're following. Also: schedule labels no longer flash before they settle, the maintenance list no longer reshuffles as it opens, and your theme, accent and reminder settings show correctly from the first frame.

Your service intervals now match the manufacturer's book — exactly. We corrected how printed schedules are read, so every interval that comes from a manufacturer's guide now shows the number they actually published. Some of your intervals will get longer. They're the right ones. Pick the schedule that fits how you drive. Manufacturers publish two: standard, and severe service for heat, dust, short trips and towing. Choose when you add a vehicle, or switch any time from Edit. In the Gulf, severe is usually the one you want. Choose your exact engine. Plenty of models come with more than one, and they don't share a service schedule. Adding a vehicle now asks which you have — and shows you when we hold the official schedule for it. Typed your vehicle in by hand? If we have the manufacturer's schedule for that exact year and model, we'll offer to use it instead of our estimates.
