Account deletion now removes only your Plotta data, so the same sign-in keeps working in other OOTSSU apps. Sessions stay signed in when you're offline, error messages are clearer, signing out also signs out your Apple Watch, and fairer claim rules keep the map honest.

Plotta Plus yearly now starts with a 7-day free trial. Plus members show their title and a PLUS mark in the rankings and live activity. Everyone can see their own title on their profile. Status now has a live activity card, and rank numbers from 100 up no longer get cut off.

Small improvements and bug fixes.

While you walk, Plotta now warns you if you're moving too fast to claim territory (for example in a car, train or on a bike), so you find out right away instead of when you finish. Territory only counts on foot.

New: Plotta Plus (optional). See every walk in a full journal with the real route you walked, distance, time, pace and personal records; follow a territory log of land you won and lost; and pick your own territory color. Everything that was free stays free.

Fixed a bug where the sign-in window could close instantly without ever opening, which left sign-in stuck for some people. Signing in now works as expected.

Start walking right away. The map opens without an account, so you can see the territories around you and take your first walk immediately. You only sign in when you're ready to save the land you walked — and the route you already covered carries over.

New Status view, right beside the ranking. See who controls the world map right now, how far the chaser is behind, how much land changed hands lately and how contested it is, plus where players come from and how fast new ones arrive.

Maintenance update. Nothing changes inside the app.

• Fixed the completion screen under-reporting displaced area and rivals when a walk claims more than one area (figure-8 walks). All areas are now summed, and rivals are merged into one line each. • If only part of a walk was claimed, we now say so. What was claimed stays saved.

Housekeeping update. • Store search information refreshed • Small stability fixes Pricing and how your data is handled are unchanged.

Added a Country/Region setting in Profile — pick your country so your leaderboard flag is right, or keep it on your device's automatically. Fixed a couple of sharing edge cases.

Refreshed App Store screenshots. No changes to the app itself.

• Panning and zooming no longer stutters in areas crowded with pins — and every pin still shows. • An opponent's territory colour used to change every time you opened the app. The same player now always gets the same colour. • The map used to keep drawing land that was off screen, so it got heavier the longer you played. Fixed.

• Routes recorded at vehicle speed are no longer claimed as land — only loops you actually walked count. • Fixed a single walk appearing several times in the Plaza feed.

Show off the ground you walked — now from anywhere. • Claim a territory and share it right away as a short video • Tap your own land on the map to share that territory • Share any territory from your profile • Anyone who taps the link sees your territory on a map, no app required

Now you can see the land forming while you walk. • A live area readout shows what you'd claim if you closed the loop right now • Walk out and straight back and you enclose nothing — the app says so while you can still turn • The "you're near the start" nudge now only appears when closing would actually claim

A new look, built around the ground you walk on. • Territory you hold now reads in deep teal, distinct from your own position • One warm amber marks what you can act on — start a walk, claim a plot • Maps sit on paper rather than glare, so the streets stay legible at night • The same palette now runs across the app, the Watch and the Plaza on the web

Leave a sentence on the land you walked, then find it again from that very spot. Lift the camera and nearby marks appear in the direction they sit. A mark only opens when you stand within 30 m of it — you have to be there. Also: the map now returns you to where you were after a trip out to the globe, and no longer stutters under hundreds of pins.

Under-the-hood improvements to how the app records your walks, so we can find and fix the places where a first walk goes wrong.

• The Activity screen now has an All feed: every player's land claims and takeovers as they happen. • Tap a row to jump to that player's land on the map.

• Fixed a bug that could leave your Apple Watch tracking heart rate and calories in the background after ending a walk.
