Set your check-in rhythm. If you go quiet, LastFlare uses reminders, trusted guardians, a final warning period, and safety review before any delivery.
LastFlare is a safety check-in app with a warm second purpose: it safely holds the messages you most want the people you love to receive.
Check in with a tap. Choose a rhythm that fits your life — every few hours for a solo hike or expedition, or every week or month for staying close to family. As long as you check in, nothing happens. Life just goes on.
If you ever go quiet, LastFlare doesn't jump to conclusions. It follows a careful, multi-step verification sequence before anything is ever delivered:
• A gentle reminder — push and in-app
• A follow-up by email
• Your guardians (trusted contacts) are asked to confirm that you're safe or complete a guided release confirmation
• A final warning period with a chance to stop delivery
You decide how many guardian release confirmations are needed. If guardians cannot verify what happened, the case moves to additional safety review. Automatic delivery without guardian confirmation is not available in this launch build.

Your guardians are people you choose. They can confirm you're safe to stop the process or complete a guided confirmation to move toward release. You set how many release confirmations are needed.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your messages are protected with AES-256-GCM encryption and stored securely. Access is controlled, and delivery follows the verification safeguards described above.
