KeepLit Desk is a paid, local-first Mac utility for keeping your Mac awake on purpose.
Start a timed awake session from the menu bar, choose whether the display should stay awake, use quick presets for meetings or uploads, and keep a small local log of why awake blocks ran. Copy a session receipt with assertion state, start time, end time, reason, release status, and local-only privacy proof. It is made for client calls, screen shares, long uploads, video exports, presentation rehearsal, and any moment where you do not want the Mac to sleep at the wrong time.
Use KeepLit Desk to:
- Start 15 minute, 30 minute, 1 hour, and 2 hour awake presets
- Keep the Mac awake until manually stopped
- Keep the display awake when screen visibility matters
- Show the remaining time in the menu bar
- Add a reason for each awake session
- Copy a session receipt with assertion and release proof
- Review a simple local session log
- Stop the session and return to normal macOS sleep behavior
KeepLit Desk is intentionally local and simple. It does not require an account, does not use subscriptions, does not include in-app purchases, does not show ads, does not collect analytics, does not track users, and does not upload session notes or power activity to a developer server.
