Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Tap to build DNCL2 code. Trace variables step by step. AI tutor guides thinking. 3 languages (JP/EN/CN). Past questions, leaderboards, badges — daily Info I prep.
Tap for Info I is a programming study app specialized for Japan's "Information I" Common Test (Joho I), a new compulsory subject for university entrance exams. Learn the pseudo-code (DNCL / Common Test program notation) required by the new curriculum, gamified.
▼ Best for
- High school students studying "Information I"
- Students aiming at the Common Test 2026 / 2027
- Beginners who want to learn Python or pseudo-code basics
- Anyone reviewing in small chunks of free time
- Both humanities and science track students who want to score on Info subjects
▼ Build code by tapping — no keyboard
Just tap components to assemble Common Test pseudo-code (DNCL / DNCL2 standard code). No syntax stumbles — focus on algorithmic thinking: conditionals, loops, arrays, functions.
▼ See code run, one step at a time
Run your code and watch variables and arrays change step by step. The trace feature lets you visually follow why each answer is what it is. Same format as the actual Common Test — great for past-question practice.
▼ AI tutor guides your thinking
Stuck? Ask the AI tutor. It returns hints and ways to think instead of giving the whole answer — building metacognition. Backed by Gemini 2.5, tuned for the Information I exam style.
▼ Gamified learning design
- Quest mode with stages and level ups
- 32+ badges to collect
- National leaderboard (12 metrics: XP, accuracy, streak…)
- Daily streak tracker for habit building
- Time Attack mode to sharpen quick thinking
▼ Wide topic coverage
Programming (191 questions, DNCL2 compliant) plus Information Society, Networks, and Data Analysis (400+ questions total). Wrong answers loop back into your review queue automatically.
▼ AI tutor (free 3/day, unlimited for Premium)
- Ask AI on any question
- "Hint", "Alternative solution", "Meaning of the expression" — free-form
- Chat history saved per question (Premium)
▼ Multilingual (Japanese / English / Simplified Chinese)
Full interface, AI tutor, and glossary are localized — great for Japanese students, international students, and learners studying Japanese Info I from abroad.
▼ Privacy
Stats stored anonymously in the cloud for the leaderboard. No name, email, or address collected. AdMob for ads, ATT compliant.
▼ When to use
- 1 quick problem on the commute or in a free moment
- Focused review of weak areas (programming, data analysis)
- Run past-exam pseudo-code to truly understand it
- Master the underlying algorithms instead of memorizing
- Compete with friends and classmates on the leaderboard
Conquer Japan's "Information I" Common Test like a game — fun and truly deep.
