Read the clues in explored rooms, scout hidden threats, strike monsters before they strike you, and brace for traps as you search for the keys that lead deeper underground. Choose relics that reshape each run. Trade gold for supplies, accept powerful shrine bargains, and decide how far you can push your luck before the dungeon ends your descent. Even defeat moves you forward. Earn Embers during your runs and spend them on permanent upgrades, unlockable relics, and mastery abilities that open new strategies. How to know (without using "Scout" or things bought at the "Trader" tile) if the deduced tile is a monster, gold, or key.

Hello, thanks for leaving a review. Yes, there is an element of guessing but due to deduction. The "strike" number shown on each floor is how many enemies are on that floor, you have one strike available per enemy on each floor. The same can be said about the "brace" option but that is relating to the traps on the floor. So yes, if you are not using scout at all you will be relying on guesses entirely for what may lie at the tile you tap.
