Dry, oily, balanced, glowing — whatever the day brings. Over time, Top Shelf starts connecting the dots between what you're using and how your skin responds. The Skin Journal is now part of the same daily flow. Add a photo, leave a note, and build a real visual record of your skin over time. One calendar, one place, one honest look at what's actually working.

We've been listening. This update brings a faster Ingredient Analyzer so you get answers without the wait, a completely revamped onboarding experience that welcomes you with a personalized skin profile and introduces you to your community from day one, and more products added directly from user requests, including an expanded Medicube selection and Trader Joe's skincare (yes, really, their Vitamin C Serum is a gem). Ingredient Analyzer — Major Update Your routine analysis just got a serious upgrade. The Analyzer now delivers a precise score out of 100 so you can track your routine's progress over time, alongside four detailed dimension scores — Hydration, Sun Protection, Actives, and Barrier Support — each with a progress bar and status label. The analysis itself is smarter too. It now understands the difference between leave-on and rinse-off products (so your cleanser doesn't inflate your hydration score), weighs ingredients by their concentration position in the formula, and detects genuine synergies and redundancies across your shelf. Results name your actual products and explain exactly what's working and what isn't. Tap any insight card to drill into the science behind it, get step-by-step guidance on how to address it, and see recommended products to fill the gap. This one's a big one. The Ingredient Analyzer got a complete overhaul. It now reads your actual ingredient lists, builds you a personalized AM/PM routine order, scores your routine across four dimensions, flags real conflicts, identifies genuine gaps, and recommends products to fill them — all calibrated to your skin type, concerns, and goals. If your routine is too much, it'll tell you what to cut instead of piling on more. We also added thousands of new brands and products to the catalog, European pharmacy staples, professional hair care, K-beauty, indie skincare, and more. Search and discovery just got a lot better. A few other things: — Ingredient Analyzer now has its own tab so it's always one tap away — Your analysis persists between sessions so you don't lose it — Bell icon across all tabs so you never miss a message As always, built for people who actually care about their skin.

Meet Shelfie — our most-loved feature just got a spotlight it deserves. Tap the camera icon on your shelf and snap a photo of your bathroom counter, vanity, or skincare haul. We'll identify your products and add them to your shelf in seconds. It's magic. It's also just really good computer vision. (Look for the Shelfie button — it's hard to miss now.) Bug fixes — squashed a sneaky one where products with commas in their names (looking at you, Caudalie Vinopure Acne Treatment, Salicylic Acid Serum) wouldn't load properly in your routine widget. Your full routine is showing up correctly now. Dark mode polish — a bunch of screens were wearing their light-mode clothes in the dark. We've updated colors across the app so everything feels intentional whether you're in full sun or midnight scrolling mode. Performance — typing in product search is now snappier. We isolated the search bar so the whole screen isn't rebuilding itself every time you hit a key. Small thing, big difference. Community ratings — the star rating system got a backend overhaul. Ratings now save reliably and community scores reflect real data across the catalog.

Phone Sign-In, Now Global Indian number? UK number? We've got you. Pick your country code and sign in from anywhere. Onboarding, Actually Redesigned We rethought the questions we ask you. Skin tone is no longer a guessing game — tell us your undertone and how you react to sun, and we'll actually get it right. Skin type is now multi-select because combination + breakout-prone is a thing. And we dropped "Clean Beauty" — too vague, too loaded. It's "Minimal Ingredients" now. Build More Routines You can now add as many routines as you want. The + button is always there. A Cleaner Catalog Duplicates, ghost products, catalog clutter — gone. Skin Twins — Always On No more empty states. You'll always find your people. Little Things Profile closes the way you'd expect. Product photos look perfect in dark mode. The remove button now actually says "Tap to remove."

You can now reorder your Top Shelf — long press any product card to pick it up and drag it exactly where you want it. Your shelf, your order. Building a new routine is also simpler. Tap the button and choose your path: let the Routine Assistant guide you to a personalized routine, or create one manually the classic way. The same choice is always available, whether it's your first routine or your fifth. The Routine Assistant now builds exclusively from products already on your shelf — so every step is something you actually own, with real product images throughout. Swipe left on any routine to delete it. We also cleaned up the product catalog, improved images across thousands of items, and squashed a handful of bugs throughout.

A personalized "Did You Know?" tip now appears in your feed, matched to your skin type and refreshed every session. Skin Twin matching is more accurate with shared shelf products now surfaced.
