# Manifold App 2.1 What's New ## Session Briefs Every scene now includes a Session Brief: a practical readiness report that grades the scene, lists the recommended launch order, highlights layout risks, and suggests the next actions that will make the workspace easier to repeat. ## Handoff-Ready Markdown Export a Session Brief to Markdown for notes apps, team handoff, or personal checklists. The brief includes the scene score, launch order, checklist progress, layout issues, and privacy-safe implementation note. ## Pro Readiness Checks Manifold now checks for missing regions, missing notes, empty checklists, generic region names, overlapping regions, low layout coverage, missing snapshots, and stale scenes. The goal is to make a saved workspace plan useful before the user is in the middle of the work. ## Cleaner Export Settings The Settings export picker now uses the current export format labels, including Session Brief, Markdown, CSV, JSON, and text options. ## Polish and Reliability The quick-tile palette now uses valid macOS system symbols, and the release build is covered by 192 passing regression tests.

Write the brief, paste key links, or describe what makes this workspace different. Add the steps you always take before a session starts — opening the right document, muting notifications, starting a timer — and check them off as you go. Marking a scene as used resets the checklist so it's ready for next time. 8 Scene Templates Jump-start a new workspace in seconds. Eight pre-built templates cover the most common work modes: Writing Session, Code Review, Video Editing, Research Mode, Morning Standup, Deep Focus, Design Review, and Admin Block. Each template includes starter notes and a step-by-step checklist you can edit to fit your workflow. Access templates with ⌘⇧T. Export to CSV or Plain Text Export any single scene or your entire scene library using the standard macOS save dialog. CSV output works directly in Numbers, Excel, or any spreadsheet. Plain-text output is clean and readable for notes apps, sharing, or off-site backup. The export includes scene names, guide card counts, notes, checklist status, and timestamps. Search A search bar in the sidebar finds scenes by name or by the text in their notes, so large scene libraries stay navigable.
