Most sun apps hand you a wall of numbers and leave the rest to you. Aubade is built around the shoot: pin the locations you photograph, glance at one card to see sunrise, sunset, golden hour and blue hour side by side, then let a quiet on-device reminder get you set up before the colour arrives. Every time is calculated on your iPhone from solar geometry, so the answer is the same in the desert, on a ferry, or with airplane mode on.

A search result gives you one number for one city. Aubade gives you the whole light curve — when the colour starts, when it fades, how long it lasts — for the exact coordinates you care about, on any date, with a reminder attached. It also handles the edge cases a quick search skips, such as polar day and polar night, so you always know what the sky will actually do.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Aubade computes sunrise, sunset and twilight on your device. Your saved spots stay on your iPhone, reminders are scheduled locally, and there is no account to create. Location is used only when you allow it, and only to work out the light for where you stand.
FULL ACCESS
Aubade is unlocked with a subscription or a one-time purchase. Choose weekly, yearly or lifetime access — every plan opens the full light board, unlimited saved spots, date planning and golden hour reminders. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed in your App Store account settings.
