What's New - Version 1.1 Two new tools for plant growers and outdoor workers, plus VPD in every room view. VPD Calculator (Tools tab) Vapor Pressure Deficit is the single most important number for plant transpiration and growth. The new calculator computes both air VPD and leaf VPD (accounting for the 1-4 C leaf cooling offset that distinguishes a grow-room reading from what the plant actually experiences). Pick your grow stage - Propagation, Seedling, Vegetative, Early Flower, or Late Flower - and the tool shows a color-coded zone verdict (Too Low / Low / Ideal / High / Too High) with the correct kPa target range for that stage. A leaf-offset slider (0-5 C, default 2 C) lets you dial in canopy measurements from an infrared thermometer. Targets are sourced from Cornell eGRO bulletin E-816 and the Pulsegrow VPD guide; the Magnus-Tetens saturation vapor pressure formula matches the precision of Buck (1981) over the full horticultural temperature range. The shade form is WBGT = 0.7 Tw + 0.3 Tdb - the most useful estimate when you don't have a globe thermometer.
